A HOUSING estate in London has been put on lockdown by police after reports of young people ‘brandishing machetes and swords.’
Youths have reportedly been fighting with armed police at Stamford Hill, in north London, an area known for its Hasidic community, the largest concentration of Haredi Jews in Europe.
One man said he witnessed a car being attacked by a mob of up to 30 armed with bats and hammers after it was chased down the street.

Thank you, I was thinking the same thing. Impossible to tell who makes up these “gangs” of youths. Since no mention is made however, I think it is safe to say that it is not the Hasidic Jews.

I imagine the British press is chewing on its own feet, not having any idea as to how to report this news, with all the mandatory self censorship, euphemisms, etc.
It will probably be a week or more until the real story gets out, maybe published in an Israeli newspaper or something.
It’s becoming almost a daily event now.

Yeah, right. How about you check your facts before tossing around misplaced accusations? Reports speak about a large group of "youths" brandishing "machetes and swords" at people and holding an illegal rave. Orthodox kids don't have machetes and swords laying about, nor would they be caught dead at some rave. Sounds a lot more like lower socioeconomic class British youth or Muzzlimes. Does not compute whatsoever for being Orthodox kids. The Orthodox police auxiliary, the Shomrim, were helping out with the incident since it happened in a heavily Orthodox area.
