The National Security Council cannot hand over records relating to former National Security Adviser Susan Rices surveillance of Americans, because they have been moved to the Obama presidential library and may be sealed for as many as five years, conservative watchdog Judicial Watch announced Monday.

If not, then that would mean that someone should be able to go in and get what they need.
Maybe someone needs to look over the rules again.
Correct me if I’m wrong but aren’t those docs government property? Aren’t they also related to national security?
Wouldn’t whoever authorized the removal of those docs guilty of a felony?

Where they will accidentally wind up in a shredder...........It’s The Chicago Way................
One of the first comments at the link said the documents were sitting in a box next to the shredder.
Trump needs to enact Extreme Transparency & open all Obama era documents immediately.

Congress could subpoena those records today.
They will not ever.
In fact, they’re too busy chasing the Democrat’s Russia phantasm to investigate the leaks and unmasking, among numerous other crimes.
I was wondering how they can do this and get away with it.
Republican complacency is killing them every day.
Belongs to the country ,Not Obama
If these docs were brought to Ba Rock Hard, the Presidential Lubrary / Bathhouse, they are gone. And I don’t know but I think it’s pronounced obstruction of justice, something like that?
And if none of the congresscritters ask for them they stay sealed. Then full speed ahead!
“The Obama administration was spying on your pre-teen daughter through the camera on her computer and you can’t disprove it.”
Come to think of it, even worse, the Dems would see nothing wrong with that.
That's as phony a story as I've heard in a long time. If they let that stand it only proves what we all know, that the government is itself "obstructing justice".
I’d be satisfied if the Senate would just approve Christopher Wray as FBI Director. As long as McCabe is in charge of investigations, we’re getting nowhere. Trump and Sessions need their guy installed. Then some of the things that urgently need to happen actually might.
Including all his college transcripts, student loans, passport ventures, ss#'s, etc.....
There is no excuse for the foot dragging. None. And I’m getting damn sick and tired of it.
+1
Since there is yet no library, just where would these documents be now?
