I always called it “charbucks.” People back then thought French Roast was O So Cool.
Tasted burnt then, tastes burnt now.
I remember when a supplier of ours at work brought in Starbucks. Our receptionist had always talked about “needing her Starbucks” so I thought I was in for a coffee that was out of this world.
Horrible stuff. I couldn’t believe anyone could drink it. More cream and sugar didn’t help.
