House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., argued Thursday that Republicans are more responsible for the downfall of political discourse than Democrats a day after House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., was shot during a practice ahead of the congressional charity baseball game.
At her weekly press conference, Pelosi was asked if she saw the "worsening in political behavior" equally in both Republicans and Democrats but she replied, "No, I do not."
She then listed out a series of examples of harsh political rhetoric from the right.
"We have a president who says, 'I could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and nobody would care,'" she said, referring to President Trump's campaign. "When you have people saying, 'beat him up and I'll pay your legal fees.' When you have all of the assaults that were made on on Hillary Clinton."

In a true pissing contest, if we lay out all the examples of hate and violent rhetoric and actual violence, the Democrats and liberal radical types will lose.

There are rules of behavior that congressional members are supposed to follow or they will be censured. For 8 years, the repubs were wimps. hey allowed Maxine Waters, Pelosi, Reid, Ellison, Boxer and many others to say things that were intended to inflame the nut cases in the dim party.
They should have been penalized for being somewhat less than decorous.
Just as several congress critters have been forced to leave for sexual misbehavior, they could have been penalized for their behavior.
DC has always had con men and other shady characters, but in the last 12 years it has descended in an abyss beyond recovery

Well, Pelosi’s conciliatory rhetoric lasted almost twenty-four hours. Now back to the usual Dim talking points.

It has always been my feeling that the 8 years of Obama and their outright lawlessness, their support of lawless, anti-American activity of the left, had the effect on stooges like Pelosi, of EXPECTING to be able to do ANYTHING they feel like doing, saying, etc. and getting away with it.
I certainly fault the complicit RINO Repubs that did NOTHING to put the left out of business with this type of stuff. It is no surprise that these reprobates are out to hurt Trump any way they can.

That perspective is where Nancy and every other liberal is coming from. It starts with the every person gets a trophy culture and culminates in the re-education camps that our College campuses have become. By the time these snowflakes hit the world they believe that they are entitled to everything including always winning elections. When reality meets their expectations the reaction is violent.
She has almost got a point for a change.
If it wasn’t for Trump and all the Republicans that voted for him, Hillary would have won and the democrats could sit around & smoke weed and wouldn’t have to worry about beating up (or shooting) the other side.
