Well, this is historic:
TRUMP TWEETS: "They made up a phony collusion with the Russians story, found zero proof, so now they go for obstruction of justice on the phony story. Nice."
As Jonah Seiger points out, it's difficult to interpret this in any other way than Trump admitting he's under investigation. That's a shocker since the Washington Post, who reported on this matter, only quoted some anonymous sources. In the last few months, we've frequently seen such sources share, well, less than accurate information.
Apparently, Trump believes (or knows?) the report to be correct.
Still, none of that means, of course, that he has become a sitting duck. If there's one politician in America who knows how to fight back when under attack, it's Trump. And yes, this tweet makes clear that this is exactly what he plans to do: to fight back whenever and wherever he can.
In fact, he immediately posted another tweet after the one quoted above:
TRUMP TWEETS: "You are witnessing the single greatest WITCH HUNT in American political history - led by some very bad and conflicted people! #MAGA"
Is this an attack on special investigator Mueller? If so, does this mean that Mueller may soon get fired?
As matters are, Trump is wise to let Mueller do his job. He has nothing to fear. Firstly, there is indeed no evidence of him personally colluding with the Russians and, secondly, he had every right to fire former FBI director James Comey, for whatever reason he saw fit. Mueller can investigate Trump as much as he wants, but Democrats' wishes do not the law make.

The media has destroyed its credibility and seems like they are trying to piss on the ashes of the bridges they burnt with many Americans.
A huge instrument for convincing voters to vote one way or another is closing off for liberals.
I say president Trump by just having the power to control some of that 4 trillion dollars is enough to goad them in to treasonous action plain in the light of day.
That he is doing it in their face and 30 million people instantly learn their president is under attack or get the tl:dr (too long: didn't read) version.
I'm spiteful so I love all this. I also think the permanent offense strategy and technology is so unique and foreign to the uniparty globalists they are stuck in a loop of indecision and their strategy when executed looks and sounds like a stuttering drunken fool
Do we really think president Trump is as stupid as the panels on MSNBC,CNN,FOX make him out to be?
President Trump proved all these people wrong publicly numerous time and they have a white hot hatred burning in their hearts and we got it, all their jackassery recorded and available on these very webertubes. Vainful hate of someone telling the truth can't be good on the soul in this life or the next.
Who has demonstrated they are smarter than all these morons for the last 2 years?
Watch it will happen again.
You don't mess with the MAGA man
This crap needs to stop. It needed to stop months ago. The relentless soft coup, directed by the media and butt-hurt RATS, is damaging our country and enflaming the rank-and-file idiot left to violence.
Imagine if WE had acted 1/1000th this way towards their Obama God...!
I wonder if Ralph is still looking for Malaysia 371 in Pakistan.
The man is a total flake.
“it’s difficult to interpret this in any other way than Trump admitting he’s under investigation”
Investigating WHAT? That some political opponents are pursuing a fishing expedition in an empty bathtub doesn’t mean the homeowner may have poisoned the trout and should be prosecuted for violating environmental law.
Trump knows whether he did something wrong or not. If he didn’t, and his subordinate is “investigating” wrongdoing that Trump _knows_ didn’t happen, then he’s in his rights to fire a disruptive employee.
There is no “investigation” if there is absolutely zero reason to believe anything wrong happened, and no accusation can be articulated.
Kinda like a cop walking up to someone for absolutely no reason, saying “halt!” for absolutely no reason, the person keeps walking, and the cop arrests him for “resisting arrest”.
Watching Ralph Peters on Fox Business, and his anti-Trump rhetoric is terrible. What a worthless POS hes become!
Agree. He’s become progressively worse. At one time looked forward to hearing what he had to offer, now mute or switch the channel when he’s on.
Thats on the rare occasion I even turn on Faux News ( formerly Fox ) at all......
You think Bush Derangement Syndrome was bad, Trump Derangement Syndrome is much worse.
Agree. But unlike GWB, Dana PeRino, and The Architect , The Donald comes out swinging against these fools.
Trump is guilty of Obstruction of Social Justice by holding the ‘Rats down...
Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime! Beria.
“.....he isn’t guilty of anything.”

Do you want to feel really ill this morning? I just turned on the TV for a minute, and there was Dr. Oz. His “guest”...
Kathy Griffin!
The words at the bottom of the screen...USING HUMOR TO HEAL. I couldn’t turn it off fast enough.
The hell with Dr. Oz. Will never listen to him again.

speaking of just how worthless, after a long military career, peters retired with the rank of Lt. Colonel.
many military retirees, get that final promotion at retirement, which if that held true for peters, would mean the highest rank he “earned” in a 22 year career would have been major.
imo, this is an obvious sign of underachieving.
regardless he comes across as a bitter never trumper.
Mueller’s “job” is to Get Trump BAMN.
“Sessions must fire him.”
________________________________
Good luck with that.
Sessions is weak and ineffective.
1. If True then Mueller’s people leak and he has no control over the situation
2. If bogus Mueller has had enough time to deny it
In either case he should be fired
My initial thought is to agree...”fire him.” However, thinking ahead, I believe the Republicans in Congress would only unite with the Democrats to form a special committee wit its own lead counsel. In the end, it would make Congress more antagonistic to the president. Probably best to let this play out. Worst case, their is a mickey mouse obstruction charge related to a crime that never happened. I believe it would fall apart.
Needless to say, NONE of this would happen to a democrat president with a democrat Congress. Republican don’t know how to be a minority party, they don’t know how to be a majority party.
Agreed. The “investigation” should be over by now. Mueller should have wrapped up his game yesterday. There is nothing to investigate. So far, everything that has been said about Russia boils down to:
1) Washington hates that Americans can watch RT on the web.
2) Some internet spyware/malware may be Russian in origin.
3) DNC investigates own servers, tells FBI it was Russia.
That’s it. Investigation over.
There they go again, telling us exactly what they do. They always accuse conservatives of the things they’re already doing and guilty of.
They are completing the loop of “Nixonizing” Trump.
I am thinking he should let this play out, but only for a couple more months. ???? After which he can say that all of our fine investigative and intelligence agencies have had more than enough time, to find some specific wrongdoing, and have been unable to do so. In the interest of moving forward, halting the wasted spending on these bizarre “investigations”, and re-focusing on the MAGA agenda, “enough is enough”. ??
I agree with you; it is a conundrum. And it doesn’t help that the MSM keeps pushing it all, as a scandal.
