Nuts, I just thought of something. Rep. Scalise crawled some distance after being shot? I wonder if that did additional damage? I am NOT blaming Scalise for trying to take cover, just infuriated that there wasn’t better security there to protect everyone.
There are so many reasons we can’t really know, but yeah, he moved a lot trying to escape. It was a long surgery, no telling what happened in there but he’s in a trauma one facility- these guys deal with gsw every day.
