There are so many reasons we can’t really know, but yeah, he moved a lot trying to escape. It was a long surgery, no telling what happened in there but he’s in a trauma one facility- these guys deal with gsw every day.

If I’ve got the tick tock right, it took additional LE 3 minutes to arrive on scene, and another 10 minutes to neutralize the perp. That’s 13 minutes Scalise, at least, was unable to get help. If I’ve got that right. Or were folks able to aid Scalise before the perp was stopped?
