Attorney General Jeff Sessions will be testifying before congress today and his former democrat colleagues have promised to tear him limb from limb. Fired FBI Director James Comey previously testi-lied that it was his opinion Jeff Sessions was placed inside the U.S. Attorney Generals office to coordinate with Vladimir Putin. Gottabe a spy, ohmygosh.
AG Jeff Sessions’ response will take place at approximately 2:30pm EDT today. Tickets for the circus level fiasco are sold out and media are breathless with anticipation.

Sessions is a Christian man. So am I. But he has to know this: his selfish and self serving action to recuse himself was more about his own ego and his own reputation at the expense of the country, the voters, justice, and President Trump.

Nonsense. If this is an illegitimately appointed special counsel who is only interested in engaging in a Democrat witch hunt, then the President should fire him.
Trump has gotten nothing done due to this RussiaGate and the swamp is getting bigger and deeper and almost too big too drain...
And you want special counsel Robert Mueller—who was appointed based on an illegal leak from FBI Director and personal friend James Comey—to hang around for years? That will slow the Trump agenda down even worse.
If this is a farce, President Trump should declare it so and end it...
Trump has nothing to lose at this point. He should fire every obama holdover and mueller. To hell with everyone. They’re going to go after him whatever he does. He can alwsys go back to his cushy life and say screw this lost country, he damn sure tried to save.
Did anyone even ask Lynch or Holder? One Senator even pointed out that Holder had to be sued just to reply to subpoenas for documentation.
I watched it to the end. The only conclusion I came to is McCain has some sort of old age dementia.
Just the fact that Sessions agreed to do this dog and pony show...gives it legitimacy. Gives the made up subject of Russian collusion—legitimacy.
What I’m struggling with is whether he’s doing this on purpose. Either way Sessions has to go.
Sessions was a Senator. He knows this. But he still allowed himself to be talked over, subjugated, and filibustered. It wasn't a stellar day.

It was widely believed here in Maine that termed-limited conservative Governor Paul LePage would run against Angus King next year, but LePage announced recently that he will not do so. The governor said he wants to spend his last year in office getting his agenda through, i.e., cutting income taxes, regulation, making Maine more attractive to business, etc.
Thye are actors. Other people Lobbyists write the laws.

I am a Christian also... too many Christian take a weakened stance in a war... Christianity does not need to make a person weak.. nor does it require we have to give in. Fight like it depends on your life... don’t back down to the enemy.. and give it all you have!
Sessions answered as best he could ... he talked too slow for the questioners.. and he said when they push him, it makes him nervous. Not a good sign when you have to sit in front of the dems...
When Sessions was selected for AG, many thought he’d hold them to the fire and take charge. So far I have not seen any of it.. the letter he wrote to fire comey, is the first I’ve heard of that. He has to get a stiff spine and go after the guilty.. stop the leaks...

Correct. And though we will win and the Democrats will be ground into dust, it will take the patience of Job in order to persevere through these trials.
Some simply won't have the belly for it, and will give up. But the President and his team know what they are doing, and we have to accept the fact that they see things much more clearly (and maturely) from their standpoint than we do from ours...
