Mueller should be fired...it was a set up from git-go! That’s why Comey released his memo, to get a special counsel, he said so! Rosenstein may not be as neutral as he claims, and with last Dem appointee, it’s obviously a witch hunt to get Trump out!
I respect Jim Noble’s opinions. He thinks Mueller and Rosenstein have to be fired.
The down side to that is there will be a hell of an uproar if it happens.
I really don’t have an opinion as to what is best. The only thing I am adamant about is that Trump should stop talking and let his lawyers do their job until this gets resolved.
Ari Fleischer is right. Trump is not vindicated until Mueller vindicates him. Until then, STOP TALKING. Perjury traps await . That is what they are looking for as the investigation continues.....
Lets look at the timeline:
April 25- Rosenstein confirmed
May 9 - Rosensteins memo to Trump on why Comey should be fired is written
May 9 - Comey fired
May 16 -Comey memo leaked ( which prompted the appointment of a special council )
May 17 - Special Council appointed
Now according to 28 CFR 600.3 which states that "(b) The Attorney General shall consult with the Assistant Attorney General for Administration to ensure an appropriate method of appointment, and to ensure that a Special Counsel undergoes an appropriate background investigation and a detailed review of ethics and conflicts of interest issues.
So we are to believe that the selection of a prosecutor,a background investigation, and a detailed review of ethics and conflicts of interest was all done in one day and that they found no conflict of interest between Comey and Mueller when Comey is definitely a witness ( and now a potential target ) ?Now you know this must have been decided weeks prior, since they already had Mueller chosen and ready to go. Now besides Comey being close friends with Mueller, we have Rosenstein who from 1990 to 1993, prosecuted public corruption cases as a trial attorney with the Public Integrity Section of the Criminal Division, then led by Assistant Attorney General Mueller. This sounds like a setup to get Mueller in place. On another note, we have Holder appointing Rosenstein to prosecute General James Cartwright, a former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, for leaking to reporters. Will Rosenstein now go after Comey for doing the same thing ? If not, it will be telling.
