“I think we should let Bob Mueller do his work and get to the bottom of it, and get to the bottom of it quickly so that he can be vindicated, get to these things,” Ryan said. “Let's not forget what this is originally all about. Russia is up to no good. Russia is trying to meddle into our elections.”

Guess we know what side he is on.

I wonder if anyone ever told this piece of garbage Paul Rino that Mueller hired a dem female attorney who used to work for the Clinton Foundation, and another dem who donated money to Obama, Hitlery, and other rats?

Then again, Paulie probably approves of Mueller hiring democrats to sabotage OUR president.

Mr. Ryan are you certain that Mr. Mueller can be trusted? He is an acknowledged “brother in arms” with Comey. Do you really believe he can make an honest and fair judgment? Why do Republicans everywhere think this is the just an effort to destroy Donald Trump? The American people are losing trust in Washington DC. Does that concern you at all? Do you understand the American people see Washington DC as an exclusive club that simply exists to maintain the status quo there at the expense of the rest of the nation?

From the reports lately, Ryan and most of the congress, were aware Trump was not being investigated, but let the attacks go on for months. If someone did that to me, and I was the President, I’d not be in a mood to cooperate with any of them. I’d be out for blood!

So what is Mueller’s job? They should spend their time on hillary’s past crimes and obama’s. There is plenty on both of them. That’s the irony of all this... the guilty goes free and the one man who came in to save us all, is the one they hate. What they’ve done is unbelievable!

If Russia tried to meddle in our elections... they’ve done that for years.. and obama did more than just meddle in several elections in other countries. The dems should have been more careful. But it had NOTHING to do with hillary losing and Trump winning... and congress knew this for months!

So, are we conservatives actively and steadily taking over our local RNC chapters and local political seats?

Are we conservatives moving beyond preaching to our choirs and putting on big road shows, sharing and teaching our good doctrines?

Is our grassroots T.E.A. Party movement alive? Anybody there?

If we don’t capitalize hard on this moment in time and in our history, we’ll fail. We’ll lose forever the America that many here remember and dearly miss.

I’m still waiting for Ryan to do his job.
A good CEO would have fired him a long time ago.

Ryan is misstating Mueller's scope, on purpose.

Everybody wants to get the bottom of Mexican medling in our election (Carlos Slim's NYT), as well as Russian meddling. That is not what Mueller is looking at. Mueller is looking for illegality in the Trump primary and general campaigns, nothing else.

Naming names, Flynn, Sessions, Manafort, and Carter Page. And those investigations are trumped up nonsense.

Ryan - always doing a Democrats job inside the GOP - can ignore who Mueller is using in his “investigation” - numerous Clintonistas, but Trump and Sessions ignore it at their peril. Mueller’s “job” was given to him by Comey and that job is “get Trump”.

Trump is supposed to be a smart and shrewd decision maker. If Mueller isn’t there to dispel crappy Russian-administration conspiracy theories, and if he isn’t there to look into the previous administration and a previous Sec.State, then Trump was dumb to promote/allow this special prosecutor in the first place, and deserves to go down if it cooperates in a witch hunt rather than seek real definitive justice

Perhaps Ryan should do his.

He constantly tweets out about how they are going to do this and they have a plan to do that.

How about shutting up and actually executing some of your plans.

Here’s an idea Paul. Lead.

This statement by ryan shows one of two things, or perhaps both:

1) He is absolutely 100% clueless.

2) He just showed he is 100% down to undermine Trump's presidency.

Ryan said. “Let's not forget what this is originally all about. Russia is up to no good. Russia is trying to meddle into our elections.”

But that doesn't mean we need a Special Counsel to investigate Russia. The Justice Department is perfectly capable of doing it.

No one can point to any reason to believe President Trump committed a crime with the Russians.

Comey revealed that they haven't even had enough to open such an investigation on the President. So why the Special Counsel?

This Special Counsel needs to end.

It is Un-American. Our system of government and our Constitution do not contemplate prosecutors doing general investigations of people without any reason whatsoever to believe a crime has been committed by them. This is like something out of the Soviet Bloc.
