Forbes is reporting that Jennifer Lawrence's survived her private jet performing an emergency landing after losing both its engines. Yikes!
JLaw's plane, which departed from her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, lost one of its engines at 31,000 feet. The pilot decided to make an emergency landing in Buffalo, New York, but then things got even scarier when the second engine shut down.

That's comforting to know!
No I’ll never get over Macho Grande! LOL
She should not voice stuff like this; “Jennifer Lawrence Trashes Christians, Republicans, Trump”

My grandfather was friends with pioneer aviator Elling Weeks, who flew a Boeing B40 for a time.
Interesting but engine loss is something we practice all the time. . .as real-world engine failures do happen:

Personally, lost a few engines during my day.
Entertaining and “fun”. . .most of my engine loss incidents were due to bird strikes.
Each engine failed independently????
I’d check to see of she has a jet engine mechanic on her list of ex’s.
Good work by the pilot.
I would withhold judgment on that. It’s highly unlikely to lose both turbine engines at altitude, there are no birds to strike. This sounds a lot like a fuel management issue to me and if so that is pilot error. Highly unlikely to have a fuel supply problem with redundant pumps and supply plumbing, unlikely but possible.
“Sorry, I don’t get the reference/joke?”
It’s from the comedy “Airplane!”. You have to see it if you haven’t :-). It’s 1.5 hours of mindless slapstick.
Hat tip to the pilot.
The Gimli Glider.
Apparently, Air Canada ground personnel were loading the fuel in pounds and the Air Canada pilots were ordering fuel in Kilograms.
The 757 fuel totalizer works off of an entered value, and subtracts fuel as it is consumed, so the pilot knows his remaining fuel at all times. Since the incorrect figure was entered before takeoff, the first indication the pilots had that they were low on fuel was when one of the engines cut off. The other engine failed shortly after.
Fortunately, one of the pilots was former RCAF, and knew of a former training airfield nearby. The rest is history.
Surely, you don’t mean that!
She probably does not own it. It is probably a lease or a NET JETS type arrangement. That way it is a better tax write off for her.
That’s what it seems like. I’m assuming the engines are independent from each other.
lol
...Or, out of fuel?
In such case it would seem the pilot(s) effed up.
Did they look under the couch cushions?
I could be had for a song !
Still got muh skillz :)
It must have been so eerily quiet up there with no engines going.
Yes, I thought that was a stupid thing to write in the article.
