William A. Jacobson is Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Securities Law Clinic at Cornell Law School. Prof. Jacobson is a 1981 graduate of Hamilton College and a 1984 graduate of Harvard Law School. At Harvard he was Senior Editor of the Harvard International Law Journal and Director of Litigation for the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project.
Prior to joining the Cornell law faculty in 2007, Prof. Jacobson had a highly successful civil litigation and arbitration practice in Providence, Rhode Island, concentrating in investment, employment, and business disputes in the securities industry, including many high profile cases reported in leading newspapers and magazines.
Professor Jacobson has a national reputation as a leading practitioner in securities arbitration, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association, an organization of over 450 attorneys dedicated to protecting public investors. Professor Jacobson frequently is quoted in national media on issues related to investment fraud and investor protection, and in the past has served as one of a small number of private practice attorneys who trained new arbitrators for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Professor Jacobson has argued cases in numerous federal and state courts, including the Courts of Appeal for the First, Fifth and Sixth Circuits, and the Rhode Island Supreme Court.

Since Trump is not a target of any investigation, there is no executive level crime to appoint a special counsel. The special counsel should step aside and nobody should replace him.
The obvious targets of the investigation into Russia should be Obama, Clinton, Lynch and Comey.
Trump had the guts to fire Comey. He should also fire Mueller.

Trump should address the nation from the Oval Office in prime time to announce he has released Mueller from his position due to conflict of interest. He should then announce the Special Counsel itself is disbanded due to public disclosure that he (Trump) himself is not under investigation.
He should then list ALL of his accomplishments since Jan. 20th, one by one with a large chart on display itemizing his accomplishments, goals and agenda. Since it is CLEAR the DemonRat Congresscritters (ALONG WITH THEIR REPUBLICAN MINIONS) and their PUPPET MEDIA refuse to communicate Trump's successes to the American people, he should use this national address to communicate those successes.
He should ALSO announce he has changed his mind and appointed TOM FITTON of Judicial Watch as Director of the FBI!!!!

We are now 5+ months into the Trump admin and we still have swamp creatures crawling out of the swamp and making their way into Trump’s pristine space and bringing other swamp dwellers with them. Comey admitted they have been investigating Trump for a year on this alleged collusion with Russian hacking and have come up with nothing.
Rosenstein needs to amend the Special Counsel appointment to limit it to only the Manafort and Flynn matters and take everything else back into the regular DOJ as the investigation demonstrates there is no basis for a Special Counsel since there is no conflict of interest, as there was no collusion by Trump with the Russian government to hack the election.
And Mueller needs to be replaced by someone with no connection to the Clintons, Obama or the Never Trumpers.
