Good Morning and Blessed Lord's Day Deplorable-FReeper-Patriot-FRiends!

Today, June 11, is day 72 of our Quarter 2's FReepathon! Unreal, but that is the sad, shameful truth. Our Quarter 3's FReepathon commences in a mere 20 days!

Talk about never ending FReepathons ... we're about to enter that territory. We're at 89%, not even 90% which brings on the much heralded YELLOW!

Is this what you want?

I don't and I don't think y'all do either!

These multi-month FReepathons are not fair to Jim, not fair to Jim's dedicated FReepathon Team and certainly not fair to all of you, FR's loyal donors who carry the load for those among us who enjoy and use Free Republic but elect to participate and use us "free."

I wish we knew the screen names of the FReeploaders but there's no telling. I can only point you all to the donor information I have. (See below)

I and others have been wondering should we ask posters of Vanities to contribute $5.00 for each Vanity?

Would it help if we asked all posters of articles to also post a graphic with a link to our FReepathons as a means of getting more members involved in our FReepathons?

It's no secret that Jim's FReepathon Team is down to 3 or 4 full-time members. Manning the FReepathon threads every day for 2 months and longer equates to over 8 months out of every year.

The following people have made Free Republic possible. Thank you all for your support. Highlighted donors contribute $1/day or more! Thank you very much!

As you can see, I am NOT listed, but I donate $50.00 monthly, so please understand that even this list is incomplete. My screen name can be found on the 300 Club.

We also have our 300 Club Roster, (shown below) which is up to date.

Unfortunately, our Monthly Donor and Dollar-A-Day Donor Lists are hopelessly out of date, with several of our members now listed on our Memorial Wall and others no longer participating at FR for one reason or another.

I can take the heat just fine. However most of the time I choose not too. If this site wants donations they should look at how they treat those they wish to do the donating. Disagreement is one thing. Silencing and running off long time members for expressing a dissenting opinion then wondering where your donations have gone is quite another.

As MEG33 so lovingly pointed out, they always make their goal. So, no need to help them understand why this shithole, that has days of downtime on an operating budget of a mere $352,000 per year, has trouble closing out a Creepathon before it’s time for another one.

Way to win friends and influence people you’re begging for money from Megs honey. I mean, smart would be taking MomMD’s comment under consideration and finding out that it actually has some merit, but you keep keeping on with begging and wondering why it’s just taking so much longer.

I’ve heard the same complaints during and after every Presidential primary. People disagree....some leave...some suspended
Some don’t like that this site is privately owned and has one boss.

The downtime and getting the new donation certificate installed late did hurt us...We are 2 weeks behind.

There are some who cannot contribute because pf financial hardship.
There are some who can contribute but like a free ride...despite declaring they are conservative.

I love this site and do FReepathon work and contribute because I believe in the mission.

I do believe in prayer. I also believe that when difficulties arise that those are obvious occasions to pray.

So, as one who believes our resurrected Lord Jesus cares about our concerns, I do pray for Free Republic. I pray for FR that its mission always be Godly and helpful in this nation that is “under God.”

I pray for guidance for FR regarding freepathons, their conduct, their methods, their basis, and for their workers, and for FR’s future

I pray for the retention of old ideas that are worthy and for God to inspire any new ideas that would benefit.

I pray for Jim and John Robinson that God would assist them in retaining what is good and in seeing any new or better ways for the future.

I do want Jesus’ approval, so anything I’ve prayed is in hope that it aligns with His purposes. Amen.
