President Trump is expected to announce his revised foreign policy for U.S. relations with Cuba during a trip to Miami next Friday.
The Trump administration started drafting the new policy in May and appears to be nearing completion if not already finished, according to a report Friday evening of the upcoming trip south.
The policy may favor hardline Cuban-Americans who were exiled during Fidel Castro's dictatorship given the event's location in Miami. Trump may limit business with the Cuban military and cut down on U.S. tourism to the island.

Flame away, I don’t care.
The US deals with with worse nations than Cuba.
Let’s start with Saudi Arabia, Yemen and several of those “Republics in Central Asia like Tajikistan, Pakistan and possibly China. Nigeria anyone? Somalia?
Cuba is really small potatoes.
Just normalize relations and allow travel back and forth.
Cuba’s only mistake was not having a billion low wage workers like the Communist Chinese.
One of very few things I agreed with Obama on was his revised Cuban wet foot dry foot policy.
Would find a way to allow those same exiles to prepare for Cubammunism's inevitable demise by pre-incorporating Cuban companies ready-to-go at a moment's notice. When that moment comes, Cuba will have to be repatriated/pacified rapidly, and at some level just short of force. The best way to do that will be to flood the island with food, oil/gas, auto parts, consumer goods, etc. Buy off the military first, they can always be putsched later...
The only problem with that idea is the economy won’t support it and the Goons will steal it all for the party loyalists, just like every other third world hell hole we have been shoveling money at to buy their so-called alliances.
Everything, and I mean everything is subjected to the principles of pay-to-play whether it is here or there, its just there they do it as a normally accepted way of doing business, here it is called politics.
I've read several articles that tourism declined shortly after Obama eased relations with Cuba. I guess the Cuba of 2014 wasn't as picturesque as the Cuba of the 1950's.
Any American wishing to visit Cuba has always been able to do so simply by flying from Canada.......
Cuba's current state of poverty has been self inflicted by the communist government, not the result of the US embargo.......
Auto collectors will flood Cuba with ready cash immediately after the the fall of Castro.
A civilized country does not offer deals to organized criminals, serial killers, and mass murderers. This means Cuba.
I dont dissagree at all. Im tired of being blamed for it. If the US can deal with Vietnam they should be able to deal with Cuba.
With the price of oil dropping Russia could no longer afford the kind of payments Cuba needed, same with Venezuela and their failing economy.
So along comes Obama to save the day. I'll never forget seeing that photo of Obama and Raul in from of the giant mural of Che. What a propaganda victory for Castro and the commies.
I hope Obama dies a death worthy of a traitor. No, I am not a cuban or of cuban heritage, but I am a patriot and "sympatico".
Not really. Most of the 1950s style autos are heavily bastardized with worthless Soviet parts.
The possible $$ in authentic parts is suspect since a large percentage of these parts are probably bastardized
Procedure to get Cuban “classic” car
Arrange transport to Mexico
To get car into US
Construct “Mexican” Title: The only way is to get car into US: “Transform” the car into a Mexican Vehicle (this can and is done with a little “oleo” spread to the right bureaucrat)
Then you find an individual with residence in Mexico and US to register car in US.
Then you arrange to “purchase” said Mexican classic car
only good thing about obammy’s cuba policy was that it ended wet foot dry foot.
Bammy gave Cuba everything they wanted, and got nothing in return. The Castros continued their human rights abuses. Trump will set things straight.
The problem with Obama’s “deal” with Cuba, is that the Cubans walked all over him. I think yes, lets normalize, but we should get something more out of the deal. We need someone experienced in making good deals...
