Trump has called Comey a liar. Since there were only two people in the room or on the phone, it is he said, he said. Trump used the "I hope there were no tapes" scam to scare Comey and it looks like it worked. Leaker Comey is now a pariah.
Well, a reporter asked Trump if he would be willing to testify under oath and tell his side of the story since he called Comey a liar. And of course, Trump says, yes, I would. I have to think his lawyer is none too pleased saying this before discussing it with him. Now Dems will be salivating going for Trump under Oath and asking any question they want to get him in a lie.
I’m sorry, but Trump should have been prepared to answer that question. Trump fell right into the trap again.
He should say, when they bring Lynch and have her testify under oath, along with Obama, then I will think about it.
Trump was vindicated yesterday and today he is willing to let the wolves go for his jugular with any and all questions now under oath.
I don’t care if there are tapes showing Comey lied- what Trump has now opened up is him saying in public that he will testify under oath.
