Well, a reporter asked Trump if he would be willing to testify under oath and tell his side of the story since he called Comey a liar. And of course, Trump says, yes, I would. I have to think his lawyer is none too pleased saying this before discussing it with him. Now Dems will be salivating going for Trump under Oath and asking any question they want to get him in a lie.

He should say, when they bring Lynch and have her testify under oath, along with Obama, then I will think about it.

You’re over-dramatizing this. Had Trump said anything but ‘yes,’ to that question, the MSM would have had hysterics. As it is, Trump is obligated to nothing—zilch. He merely dodged another land mine with typical dexterity.

The MSM would have portrayed that as a weak response and a dodge. Trump accuses Comey of lying under oath but fails to back it up by equivocating about whether he would say it under oath. So who do you believe?
It must be remembered what the Special Counsel is investigating: Russian meddling with our election and possible collusion of the Trump campaign with the Russians (not a federal crime). So what does it matter if Trump demanded Comey's loyalty or that he may or may not have said to let the Flynn case go? There was no obstruction of justice, otherwise Comey would have reported it at the time. The case continues and if you believe Comey, the investigation of Flynn is not related to the Russian meddling in our election.

There are no tapes and that will be confirmed shortly. This is he said, he said. A big nothingberger. The Special Counsel could require Trump to testify under oath no matter what he said. Trump will have his counsel with him.
