I’m sure that there was no danger of being shot in a Canadian TIre in Toronto unless someone else came there with the same motivation as she, and was better armed.
Interesting stat on knife founds, but I wonder how they come up with the knife wound figures. I’d bet that there are many less serious knife wounds that never are taken to ER and thus never documented. I’d also think that the quality of the knife wound would vary greatly with the skill of the one weilding the knife. I’d much rather take my chances with a 30-something woman with a knife than just about anone with a gun. Guns are great equalizers.
