Conceal carry legal class, intro trauma first aid class and intro tactical knife class. Others have quoted this figure too. Of course there are numerous variables but i believe a 9mm wound would cause less damage than a wound in the same spot with a large knife.
Barring richoeting sending a bullet bouncing off in all different directions, I can see a bullet passing through an area being less of a problem than a large knife.
That said, it takes more skill and ability to get the knife to pass through the area. Attempting to put a knife through the torso and attempting to put a bullet through the torso are two very different things.

What you say is true. However, a whole magazine load of 9mm hollow points is a whole different story because that’s what should happen.....empty the whole damn magazine on their azz.
