“If you don’t embrace winter activities and go skiing and sledding and hot chocolate by a fireplace singing Christmas Carols, then you cannot understand why we love all 4 seasons here in western New York”

I love all of those things, but we just get in the car and in a couple of hours we are at say Lake Tahoe, or some other area in the Sierras, and we can spend as much time as we like there, then drive back to the coast and enjoy the moderate winter there. And as far as skiing is concerned, we have “real mountains” on which to ski. BTW, Mammoth Mountain is still open as this is being written. With last season’s big snowpack they will probably ski there until winter returns. Top of Mammoth Mountain, 11,053 ft. Base: 9,500 ft. And the views are spectacular. Used to spend some time in Corning. Love the Finger Lakes!

“Even Laz wouldn’t hit that.”

Yes he would, in the face with a frying pan!

Rochester was a welfare magnet. Cars full of ‘em would arrive in town and axe the first police officer they encountered, “Where’s the welfare office?”

Rochester was a GREAT place to live when Xerox and Kodak were dominating their industries. Now it a shell of its former self. In other words Rochester has become what Cuomo and his father want to turn all of upstate New York into.

Rochester has become what Cuomo and his father want to turned all of upstate New York into.

Fixed it for you.

Upstate and western NY are complete disaster areas. There is nary a town that isn't a zombie town with the dead factory and the fat welfare pig(s) and their nappy haired bastard offspring wandering the streets.

I have lived here all of my life, and this is the worst I've seen it....ever. Between Onambla and Cuomo, they have turned the Empire State into the Subsistence State.

Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, are disaster areas. Full of democRAT voting, welfare lowlifes, who spend their time selling drugs and shooting each other.

Keeping one’s 174K salary + handling NO cases = a nice, rich, cushy vacation. That’ll learn her! Won’t it?! What a crock! One judge covering for another’s delinquency.

I spent Columbus Day weekend in Cooperstown a few years ago. Cooperstown was great. The foliage may even be better than New England’s. Lots to do, the Fenemore Museum, the NYS Agricultural Museum, and that little place downtown with the plaques.

Cooperstown is not Perry, Lowville, or Arcade.

These are the places where the real New York is in terrible distress. No jobs, unless you work for the government (i.e. teacher, DPW, Social Services, etc.) The property taxes are astronomical on shacks, and other dwellings, sales taxes, income taxes, excise taxes.

While Cooperstown is a cute little “berg” and there are a few little towns dotted across the area where their fate has not been destroyed by the loss of the main employer, there are many thousands of little town that are zombie hellholes. The problem is that NYC has more voters then all of upstate and western NY, and we get stuck with morons like Cuomo and Hillary, and Schumer.

Absolutely no argument. My wife’s aunt and cousins lived in Webster. Two cousins worked for Xerox, one for Kodak. They were all Christian liberals. Welfare was God’s will. They really had a beautiful lifestyle twenty-five years ago. Been to the Broom County Fair, had Buffalo wings before they were kewl, but still delicious.

But even then Seabreeze Park, and Seneca Park Zoo were starting to be overrun by unruly little feral welfare brats, who were intended to grow up to be welfare voters.

Cuomo’s father knew where this was headed. He didn’t care. Ruin the state so long as it was Democrat. It is a shame what happened .

Astacio kept her position and $173,700.00 salary, but was temporarily stopped from hearing any cases.

True.... but now you know why she is smiling so broadly. From her perspective, now she can get paid and do nothing for it. It's a win-win for her!
