The fat has gotten to Moore’s pea-size brain.
Sally Yates, Preet Bharara and James Comey were all appointed by Obama. The incoming Trump Administration had every right in the world to fire these leftovers and replace them with Trump appointees.
The only thing that the president did wrong was not firing them sooner.
Trump deliberately waited until the days AFTER the following events unfolded:
1. Former leaders of the NSA, CIA, etc. all testified before Congress that they had no evidence of any dealings between Russia and the Trump campaign in 2016.
2. Sen. Diane Feinstein admitted on CNN that there was no evidence at all of such collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.
3. Comey himself testified before Congress that he was never pressured to stop the ongoing FBI investigation into the Trump-Russia story.
These things gave Trump all the cover he needed to fire Comey. If he had done it any earlier, the accusations of "firing Comey to stop the Russia investigation" would have had at least an ounce of credibility.
