Islamists want to impose sharia law on the West — which means all Islamists are ‘extremists.’
The Western schizophrenia about radical Islam is on full display in Britain, in the aftermath of the latest jihadist atrocity, the third in just the past three months.
Three terrorists rammed a van into a crowd on London Bridge and then went on a stabbing rampage, brutally assaulting pedestrians while braying that each blow was struck “for Allah.” A duly outraged Theresa May donned her prime-minister hat to announce that her government is “leading international efforts to take on and defeat the ideology of Islamist extremism around the world.” She also slipped on her amateur-imam cap, adjusted her rose-tinted glasses, and proclaimed that “Islamist extremism” is an ideology
that preaches hatred, sows division and promotes sectarianism. It is an ideology that claims our Western values of freedom, democracy, and human rights are incompatible with the religion of Islam.And what right-thinking Western politico’s post-mass-murder speech would be complete without May’s insistence that this ideology is — all together now! — “a perversion of Islam and a perversion of the truth.”
Sigh.
What does Theresa May know about Islam such that she can decide what is a perversion of it? Precious little, I’d wager. Otherwise, she’d not babble on about “Islamist extremism,” a term right out of the Department of Redundancy Department.
If you are an Islamist in the West, you are, by definition, an extremist. An Islamist is a Muslim who believes Islam requires the imposition of sharia, Islam’s ancient, totalitarian societal system and legal code.

Haven’t reached the tipping point yet for earnest defense/offense. This will only happen when enough liberals have been murdered.

The core of the problem is that these western countries are filled with stunted misfits who have no place in a free society because they can't abide by the simple standards of human conduct that are needed for a free society to function.
Radical Muslims are only the most recent group of these misfits that have polluted our society. They come in the aftermath of the destruction that has already been caused by their predecessors over a period of decades: radical feminists, communists, environmentalists, sexual deviants, and all the rest who have done far more damage than Islam -- under the guise of their radical ideology and cultural/legal totalitarian rule.
This is going to sound harsh, but when a radical Muslim goes on a shooting spree in a gay nightclub in Orlando, a lot of normal, decent people probably spent days and weeks trying to figure out if there was even a downside to the incident.
The problem is politicians who are actively welcoming m*slims into the country and arresting citizens who complain about the resultant murders.
McCarthy is saying there's no useful linguistic distinction between those who want to achieve ther goals peacefully and those who resort to terrorism.
That doesn't make any sense.
Islam, when worshiping Satan just isn’t evil enough.
The way I read that is that he’s not saying their isn’t a difference. He’s just saying that they are both islamists in that they have the same ultimate goal...sharia and muslim domination.
Satan = the father of lies (taqqiya anyone), a murderer from the start (murderous blood lust is the hallmark of Islam).
And he's also saying there's no descriptive difference between those who approach that goal peacefully and terrorists.
He's explicitly saying there are no gradations among Islamists.
He knows better but he's playing shock jock.
True! And shows up for communion when she should have already been excommunicated... point taken.
