Senate Committee Launches A New Clinton Investigation

Senate Committee on the Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley has launched a new investigation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s effort to thwart a Bangladesh government corruption probe of Muhammad Yunus, a Clinton Foundation donor and close friend of the Clintons.

The Iowa Republican’s effort is the first new official inquiry of Clinton since her unexpected loss in the 2016 presidential election to President Donald Trump. Trump’s supporters often chanted “lock her up” during his many boisterous campaign rallies.

But upon assuming the presidency, Trump and leaders of the Republican-majority Congress displayed little appetite for reopening investigations of Clinton’s tenure as the chief U.S. diplomat and multiple persistent allegations of “pay-to-play” corruption involving the Clinton Foundation. Until now.

The Daily Caller News Foundation (TheDCNF) Investigative Group exclusively reported in May that Clinton sent top U.S. diplomats to pressure Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheik Hasina and her son Sajeeb Wazed in an effort to kill that country’s corruption investigation of Yunus and Grameen Bank. Yunus was then managing director of the state-owned Bangladesh bank.

Sponsored Links by In a June 1, 2017, letter to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Grassley repeated TheDCNF charge that Clinton threatened Wazed with an IRS tax audit if his mother did not back away from the corruption probe. Wazed has lived in the U.S. for 17 years.

“If the Secretary of State used her position to intervene in an independent investigation by a sovereign government simply because of a personal and financial relationship stemming from the Clinton Foundation rather than the legitimate foreign policy interests of the United States, then that would be unacceptable,” Grassley told Tillerson.

voter fraud and intimidation

the mysterious deaths of many Clinton opponents (or at least potential whistleblowers)

The ONLY thing the Senate Judiciary Committee should be doing is confirming the federal judges nominated by Trump. They have approved one for the Supreme Court and one for the Sixth Circuit court of appeals.

It will be ugly. It will be nasty!

And yet, it has to be done! We have no choice! It must be done!

Boo-hoo. Those mean Republican White men are picking on poor Hillary because she’s a woman! It has nothing to do with the fact that she’s a bigger crook than her fellow Chicagoan, Al Capone. His seven-year reign as a crime boss ended when he was 33. Hillary has been committing crimes for over 40 years. There is no justice as long as she goes free.

It tells me California is a lost cause.

The Trump campaign knew this and did not bother to spend money there.

California was given over to Hilary without a fight.

Had Trump spent money to get out his message in California the vote count may well have given Trump a majority vote count but the Electoral College vote count would have been unchanged; in other words money wasted.

The Trump campaign made the right decision in put the money where it could affect the end goal in getting a win in the Electoral College.

Let the Dims whine about popular vote. The Electoral College is there to prevent a few large states like California and New York from having control of this nation. The 2016 election is a perfect example of why we have the Electoral College and why we need to keep it.

Why you’re at it think of all the trouble that has been caused by the popular election of Senators.

I believe Trump was willing to let her go for a while, and shortly after the inauguration he said something to that effect. However, since they have been trying nonstop since the inauguration to get him impeached, there is no need for him to let bygones be bygones. He needs to send several democrats to jail just to get control of the executive branch, or they will keep coming after him.
