If heat alone, all by itself, was going to kill off the plant life of the earth and starve the animal life and humanity, the biggest rain forests would not be in the “warmest” climate belt on the earth - the tropics.
Additionally, while it is true that even if higher temperatures may cause more melting & evaporation of sea ice, it will likely also increase evaporation of ocean waters. But it is scientific calculation error to assume the increased ice melting and the increased evaporation & increased precipitation from it will result in a massive sea level rise everywhere. What is under calculated is how much additional precipitation will go into additional living green plants as well as into ground/underground water reserves, land-bound lakes & ponds, as well as human-created water reserves.
When one looks at the predictions of gloom and doom about higher temperatures, and then observes the abundant life of the rain forests (plenty of heat & moisture with a constant & high level of CO2 recycling), it is clear that the alarmist predictions are unfounded.

I want to know how much "ice melting" in Antarctica (where the average temperature is -58 degrees Fahrenheit) can be attributed to warmer air temperature.
There is also volcanic activity, both as visible eruptions, and hidden underneath the ice.
Of course talk of any of the volcanic activity is hidden by the AGW-freaks.
