Washington Post ^ | June 2, 2017 | Abby Phillip and John Wagner

President Trump’s triumphant Rose Garden ceremony announcing his withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement sent a message loud and clear to his supporters: Promise kept.

But the move also served as a clarion call to angry Democrats, potentially complicating the political path for Republicans facing tough midterm challenges and, ultimately, Trump’s own reelection bid.

I can see their slogans now:

“America Last!”

or

“Make America Deflate Again!”

For the Democrat Thug Party, it’s more important to represent the Parisian Elites than to represent the citizens of the United States.

“Democrats see political opportunity in Trump’s decision to abandon Paris climate deal”

More magical thinking by the Washington DC National Enquirer and their DemoKommies minions.

Trump voters voted for him because of promises like bailing on the phony obama “climate” agreement. Now that he’s demonstrated he’s keeping large numbers of his promises, including the biggie of putting the U.S. first, any who may have had their doubts about him will doubt no more.

the only way to get trump is to catch him not keeping to the spirit of what he talked about on the campaign trail.....If he had supported the Paris treaty it would of exploded his presidency,,, if he went back on his stance on illegal immigration he would be hurt....as long as the democratic party is pissing and moaning he is going to get a majority support. the moment he bows to pressure from this group unless he has a logical explanation like they successfully argued the point (something I have my doubts they can do) he has lost

You’re right. We have nothing to lose - liberals already hate us as much as it’s possible to hate ... so who cares what the hell they think or ‘feel’... eff ‘em.

The Dummies speak:

“The Paris agreement would have reduced global warming.”

“Watch it, only Freepers accuse us of claiming global warming. It is settled science that there is climate change.”

“So the Paris agreement would cause climate change?”

:-)

“...potentially complicating the political path for Republicans facing tough midterm challenges and, ultimately, Trump’s own reelection bid...”

“...The risk for Republicans in the near term remains that even small shifts in enthusiasm could make the difference in competitive congressional races...”

***Maybe they really can’t do math***

I suggest that it wasn’t about climate change anyway. It was about globalist socialism to be paid for by Citizens of America.

If you have morals and a cohesive, logical argument, you don’t need political opportunities.
