In an article published Friday, The New York Times outed the Central Intelligence Agencys (CIA) top spy overseeing the organizations efforts in Iran. The paper justified its outing of the undercover CIA spy and his role within the agency by saying it was necessary since the agent is leading an important new administration initiative against Iran.
Yes. That really happened.

I have always viewed the NYT, WaPo & LaT as tools and mouthpieces of our intelligence communities. If the NYT outed him, it was only upon the direction of the CIA. I can’t speculate about their motives.
TREASON!
Wouldn’t they say something sensible now and then if so?
NYT “We put the T in reason.”
Beats me. I do not know.
I do know that the Sulbergers and the New York Times were anti-American scum long before 2008 when Carlos got involved.
Illegal? Can the FED sue Li’l Pinch for all his assets?
Probably!!! Makes sense!! I hope to God his wealth disappear!!!
Cointelpro never ended. The stories support an agenda and other papers just retell the stories and further that agenda. If you ever want to know where the CIA stands on something, just read the NYT.
Well, we want to find the leakers, not assign scapegoats. I think the Trump administration understands the difference ;)
Can remember my grandpa constantly saying the same thing during WWII.
During war, brother & I lived with grandparents while Dad vacationed all across South Pacific with the Marine Corps and Mom worked 12-14 hrs-a-day, 6-days-a-week in a defense plant
Among the many important things we learned:
Guillotines from orbit ... it’s the only way to get them all.
Jail? Why jail? The bastard should be executed.
Someone needs to be Scooterized!
Seems to me the libs jailed Scooter Libby for saying the Valerie Plame and her husband worked at the FBI building which they did.
In 2002, Plame wrote a memo to her superiors in which she expressed hesitation in recommending her husband, former diplomat Joseph C. Wilson, to the CIA for a mission to Niger to investigate claims that Iraq had arranged to purchase and import uranium from the country, but stated that he “may be in a position to assist”. After President George W. Bush stated that “Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa” during the run-up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Wilson published a July 2003 op-ed in The New York Times stating his doubts during the mission that any such transaction with Iraq had taken place.
A week after Wilson’s op-ed was published, Novak published a column which mentioned claims from “two senior administration officials” that Plame had been the one to suggest sending her husband. Novak had learned of Plame’s employment, which was classified information, from State Department official Richard Armitage. David Corn and others suggested that Armitage and other officials had leaked the information as political retribution for Wilson’s article.
The scandal led to a criminal investigation; no one was charged for the leak itself. Scooter Libby was convicted of lying to investigators. His prison sentence was ultimately commuted by President Bush.
Where is the FBI now?
rwood
Who leaked this to the NYT?
The CIA?
They need to be tracked down, indicted, prosecuted and then hang ‘em!
The fact is the House Un-American Activity committee identified the Communists within, all McCarthy did was ask why are they still here and we know what happened to him, his name became a verb and an adjective.
The NYT is still the paper most read by politicians.
Brennan is a prime suspect, in my book, since he was the enemy inside the wire, placed in charge of CIA to finds ALL assets in Islamic fens so they can be outed and blind our intel. Brennan is the enemy, who has left CIA carrying all intel he could lay hands on.
