So how are they going to pay for it?
Easy, just use the excess profits from the bullet train revenue.
Not at all, unless they seal the borders with the neighboring states.
All the fairies in San Francisco will just wave their fairy wands and poof the money will appear.
> So how are they going to pay for it?
They’re hoping the voters will not vote for the tax increases. Let’s them claim a moral victory without destroying the state.
The usual, of course.
Tax the rich, import more illegals, sell carbon credits, slap surcharges on every transaction under the sun moon and stars, start a Healthy! lotto, raid their state highway funds, shift other funds from vital infrastructure projects, sell snazzy CaliCare t-shirts, stuff like that.
Oh, and impose a 90% exit tax on all Americans fleeing that cesspool.
Hollywood libs could subsidize it by charging 80 dollars for a movie ticket. Since only libs are interested in watching the idiotic swill coming out of the Hollywood arm of the Ministry of Propaganda these days, libs can bear the brunt of the cost. /sarc
Who cares about that. The question is how bad will it screw up my health insurance before it goes broke.
Correction comrade. How are YOU going to pay for it?
Well, 400 billion and 34 million residents is $10256 each, unless you figure about half don’t get taxed (pensions, disability, and so on) so it’s $20512 each for the half that do pay taxes. Say an average of 29K per household.
That’s not too much for free healthcare.
