WASHINGTON A Republican Super PAC has found a new way to target Democratic candidates: Kathy Griffin.
A new ad uses the controversial comedian to criticize Democrat Jon Ossoff, saying her recent controversial actions are part of a pattern of behavior from liberal extremists who now support the House candidate running in Georgias 6th Congressional District.
Griffin drew widespread condemnation this week when she was pictured holding a fake severed head made to look like President Donald Trump. The head was covered in fake blood.
Now a celebrity Jon Ossoff supporter is making jokes about beheading the president of the United States, a narrator intones in the ad. Its not funny.
Video of Griffin holding the head appears in the ad, alongside images of liberal filmmaker Michael Moore and black-hooded protestors smashing windows.
A spokeswoman for the group running the ad, Congressional Leadership Fund, said it is not yet on air in the Atlanta suburban district. But the group, which is spending $6.5 million on the closely watched special election, could decide to use it in the weeks before the June 20 election, said Ruth Guerra.
The use of Griffin is an unusual tack in race that has otherwise been about Ossoffs and Republican Karen Handels backgrounds, national security and health care. But in a race that has been saturated in spending by the candidates and outside groups, trying a new approach (if the ad does run on TV) might be an attempt to break through with voters who have grown weary of all the TV ads on the race.
Ossoff faces Handel in a race that has drawn national attention as an early test of Trumps popularity in a district he narrowly won during last years election.

Absolutely !
USE IT
I don’t think overplaying this is a good idea.
Folks already know about it and are repulsed by it.
Leave it at that.
Let it be their idea.
We shouldn’t be seen as spreading the viewership of this obscene stunt.
I’d put him in a side-by-side with Pajama Boy. I think that would be more insulting. Using the other is just wrong.
Oh you do know how to hurt them. “:^)
Thanks.
Let this atrocious and uncivilized display be forever confined to the forces of evil who can conceive of such actions in their own heads. No serious newsman or journalist who loves his country, the children of the world, of civility itself will display it from this point forward.
I agree with you. Propagating this in any form will only make our side look bad.
I disagree. We should pin their psychos to every single Dem candidate for the next 3 years, right down to dog catcher.

Disagree strongly. Dems in flyover country need to pay the price for the repulsive nut jobs running the Dem party on the coasts and in the media. Stuff like these needs to be rubbed in their faces 8 days a week.
Hey we didn’t do it. The beeyatch did it!
Sorry DO, but you’re wrong. The days of turning the other cheek and being above the fray is over.
Thanks.
I will say that I understand fully the desire to call the Left on this. I’m not trying to give anyone a hard time for that.
It just seems to me that using it in our adds, is not a productive thing to do.
Address the vial hatred exhibited by the Left, “Examples of which everyone has seem...”
This way folks flash the scene in their own head, and we come off clean as not being the purveyors of hate.
Thanks...
Got me thinking, why is Jesus nailed to the cross as a symbol, and not just show an empty tomb?
There are better ways to pin psychos.
You don’t ridicule the other side for wallowing in “stuff” by holding the raw “stuff” out on your own hands.
Mention the level of vitriol and hatred exhibited by the Left, and leave it at that.
Folks will reference this on their own, and we’ll have acted in a reasoned professional manner.
We can agree to disagree then.
Enjoy your day.

What a JOKE!!!
Most GOP feel the same way she does...Ryan, McConnell, Mr and Mrs John McCain (Graham is his wife), the list goes on...and, my governor, the traitor Kasich (mail boy).
He is shown on the cross because of the sacrifice he made/was.
In a way it could be seen as revealing the wages of sin, but I think the real message is that we have the real promise of eternal life, because this God/Man paid the ultimate penalty for us.
