In Czech, a Russian citizen Yevgenity Nikulin said in court that United States authorities approached him twice to convince Nikulin to falsely testify that he had hacked the DNC emails for Trump and was ordered to do so by the Russian government.
Nikulins lawyer suggested that the US charges against him are prompted for political reasons to blame him for the DNC leaks.
[They told me:] you will have to confess to breaking into Clintons inbox for [U.S. President Donald Trump] on behalf of [Russian President Vladimir Putin], Nikulin wrote, according to The Moscow Times.
The AP reported more on the story:
A Czech court ruled Tuesday that a Russian man who faces charges of hacking computers at American companies can be extradited either to the United States or Russia and the suspect immediately appealed his possible extradition to the United States. Czech authorities arrested Yevgeniy Nikulin in Prague in cooperation with the FBI in October after Interpol issued an international warrant. He is accused of stealing information from LinkedIn, Dropbox and other companies
Im innocent, Nikulin said through a translator at the hearing Tuesday. I havent done anything illegal. I have nothing to do with that.
Nikulin appealed his extradition to the United States. He has three days to decide if he will agree to being extradited to Russia. Justice Minister Robert Pelikan will have the final say on where Nikulin goes after Pragues High Court decides his appeal.
Nikulins defense lawyers have said the U.S. charges were based on one FBI agent, and suggested the U.S. was seeking him for political reasons to use him as a pawn in the investigation into alleged Russian hacking in the U.S. election.
He claimed in the courtroom that he was twice approached by U.S. authorities in November and in February in the absence of his previous lawyer. He said they urged him to falsely testify that he was cooperating in the hacking attack on the Democratic National Committee ordered by Russian authorities. He said U.S. authorities would, in exchange, give him money and a life in the United States.
I rejected doing it, Nikulin said.
Plausible given the corrupt nature of the Democrats and media.
The fix is in when they brought mueller that was the biggest yellow flag EVER!! I hate the republicans for NOT STANDING UP TO THOSE ASSES!!! All this crap could’ve been nipped in the butt in Jan...I ate them!! Especially McVain!!
More like probable.
the U.S. charges were based on one FBI agent,
I heard this story a few weeks ago and then it disappeared.
HOORAY Yevgenity Nikulin
Tactics of totalitarians ALERT!
The AP reported more on the story:
Consider the source.
Not to mention all the three-letter spook outfits. Corrupt.
How long before Yevgenity Nikulin is SethRiched?
From Mr. Nikulin’s perspective, do you want to lie and accuse people like Putin and the FSB and end up on a slab, or tell the truth and have limp wrist former comedy writers on a U.S. Senate committee shake their fingers at you? Not a very hard choice.
The AP didn't report the bit about the US trying to get him to admit hacking for Putin - that came from The Moscow Times.
I think you're wise to consider the sources.
There is a reason the FBI has a policy of not recording interviews.
If you do not want an interview with an FBI agent, pull out a recorder, or tell them you wish to record the interview. They will refuse to talk to you.
It happened to me.
The illusion is that people actually believe that there is a 2 party system.
Not 1 indy prosecutor for all the obutthole wrong doings but we have one for a made up DNC story to throw blame away from them.
NOT. SURPRISED.
Russian Hacker Yevgeniy Nikulin
..... I'm sure the FBI eventually found a willing participant ....
I saw it as a projection in several places with the assumption that the “Guccifer2” character would be bribed to cop to the hacking charge. The posters seemed to think that the subornation was a done deal. I guess not.
