Actually Trump has made the decision to leave it. Translating for those who have not figured out Trump speak. It means he hasn't made up his mind when or how to tell you in a manner he appreciates.

Trump should send it to the Senate and ask for ratification on an up or down vote that requires 67 votes for approval, I.e., treat it like a treaty. No way will it be approved. Trump gets a win without a political cost.

A vote has the advantage of letting the public know what is in the agreement.

I thought he was notifying our competitors in Europe that the window for negotiations is still open but will come a close next week.

Merkel seems to be whining the loudest. Is this row over Germany’s NATO bill over the last 25 years?

As for trade, the Europeans like to buy from companies manufacturing in Europe.

Dear President Trump,

We elected you to do what you said you would do.

You said you would free us from the Paris Climate boondoggle.

Please keep your word.

Sincerely,
Your Voters

“Dramatically altering” it isn’t good enough.

Just do what you ran on.

Trump has courage. After listening to Stu Varney this morning, that agreement was really bad news for America.

It was loaded with covfefe.

Of course, that's the way our system is supposed to work where it comes to such binding international agreements, but Emperor Obama thought that was a quaint idea, and that ALL power should be vested in the executive.

At this hour, it appears that the President is going to go it alone, and reject the Paris Accord by himself. That means he'll also shoulder the entire political cost or reward.

Trump and his people should educate the public on exactly what was in the agreement and why he is pulling out. He should also point to the fact that Obama did this unilaterally without consulting Congress,

The public is poorly informed when it comes to the climate change issue. The uninformed are so gullible that they will believe that Trump has set in motion the destruction of the planet by pulling out of the agreement and the Dems will fan the flames. Hence, this is why I would like a vote to put them on record. People like Mancin, Tester, and McCaskill who are for up for reelection in 2018 don't want to be on the record. Without a vote, they can declare that they don't favor withdrawal and that the US should make some changes to the agreement to correct its deficiencies knowing full well that is impossible.
