President Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, is now one of the people included in the widening congressional probe into Russia's meddling in the 2016 election.

Cohen told ABC News in an email House and Senate investigators asked him to "provide information and testimony" about any interactions he had with people tied to the Russian government, but Cohen declined their request.

"I declined the invitation to participate as the request was poorly phrased, overly broad and not capable of being answered," Cohen said in an email Tuesday.

No doubt they have the ability to produce conversations with Trumps voice telling the Russians to interfere or whatever. Those artifacts will look and sound real. They may create a fake paper trail to go along with it, but of course that is easier to fake and less believable. They may create evidence of payments. They can also come up with some sorryass fall guy from Russia to hit the witness stand. The possibilities are seemingly endless.

Hopefully Trump's team is on it. The only way to fight this kind of subterfuge is with better subterfuge.

Today a summons was issued to the final registered republican in the nation requiring him to testify in the continuing investigation into Russia election meddling and collusion of the Trump administration with Russians.

That brings the total number of people subpoenaed to well over 80 million.

A Democrat spokesman said that “It’s not if the facts prove guilt or not - it’s the seriousness of the allegations that matter.”

He added that they fully expect the investigations to result in a Trump impeachment and an election win in 2024 for the Hillary Clinton/Elizabeth Warren ticket.

Washington insiders will never understand how everyday business' work...politicians are by nature fickle and cunning....the GOP elites are hand-in-hand with the D.C. elites seem to refuse to acknowledge how business people must talk to everyone....that means everyone!

Why is no one criticizing the Clinton's chicanery of pay to play, using their offices for self enrichment...with the Russians also!

These investigations are time consuming and expensive...Comey did not do his job and covered for a crook. Clapper just plain lied to congress and other commissions, Hillary and Bill are beyond crooked,just plain unscrupulous.Isn't this why Donald Trump was elected?

Even JC wouldn’t do an overseas speaking tour on the heels of the sitting President who was in another European Country.

Time for President Trump to pull the plug and start prosecuting the criminals and thieves... I don’t think he is worried about the ‘fallout’ but these people get a little bolder each day.
