Lawmakers scuffled on the floor of the Texas House of Representatives on Monday after a Dallas-area Republican told Democrats that he called Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers on protesters in the House gallery.

Watched several of the videos, and they were charging Rinaldi. Rinaldi was not attacking them.
The one video had one of the protesters in the foreground, nice suit, with child in tow, looked like he was getting out of the place once he heard that ICE was being called.
We’re getting to the place where ¡Immigration! once again means something.
I love this story. It may be my favorite one on Ice yet..although the one of the guys eating breakfast ...complementing chef..and then busting workers was pretty good

Just read statement from rinaldi...he said he would shoot the guy in self defense...under police protection. Dem Lawmaker said he would get rinaldi on the way to car.

Rinaldi spoke too early. He should have waited until ICE had completed their work.

This is all over the news in DFW this am - I just pray our Capitol building hasn’t been damaged like the one in Wisconsin was a few years ago. Also pray the protesters couldn’t bring in any “liquids” like during the Wendy Davis days. OUR STATE CAPITOL needs to be respected for what it is.
Austin is total nuts at this point. Rinaldi was totally right to call ICE. No telling how many illegals are in that crowd.
What’s with Drudge? Texas newspaper he links to is totally one-sided. Talks about “protestors”, doesn’t mention that they were carrying signs proudly bragging that they were illegal!
Good for the Republican to call ICE on those illegals.
