A researcher in culture and gender studies at Utrecht University in the Netherlands, Stark also holds an appointment in women’s and gender studies at the University of Arizona through its Institute for LGBT Studies.

She is a member of the Somatechnics Research Network, hosted by UA, whose scholars “reflect on the mutual inextricability of embodiment and technology.”

Stark identifies Newtonian physics as one of the main culprits behind oppression. “Newtonian physics,” she writes, has “separated beings” based on their “binary and absolute differences.”

Yeppers. A binary society.
For engineers, that means, “Does the building fall down and kill people? Or not?”

Does she even understand how silly, how childish her tantrums and “big words of polysyllable nonsense” actually are? Does her audience of like-minded idiots understand how foolish they are? (And they condemn the Middle Age question “How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?” )

So, Bill Nye, is this science, or not?

The closure of the insane asylums during the ‘80s and ‘90s by the “caring” left has led to us being assaulted almost daily by stories of demonstrably disturbed people being given a soapbox for their ideas by an equally unbalanced media.

Is she going to reanimate a corpse with both a ding dong and a hoo hoo to prove she’s right?

Her name is Stark: That’s a start as in Stark Raving Mad.

I think her brain has been bombarded by too many Photons (Mr. Spock); Protons; Anti-protons; Neutrons; and Fig Newtons.

This is one mixed up puppy. Why is she affiliated with the Un. of Arizona? Is she one of McCain’s friends?

Another hoax paper. You just cannot tell anymore because academia is certifiably insane.

Is it really a hoax?

The first thing I thought of was the “conceptual penis.”

Re “Binary and absolute differences”.

Well, “binary” in the real world, not hers, could be a man and woman making love/having sex, or both.

And yes, there are “absolute differences” between them, i.e. one is a male and one is a female. The result, the continuation of the human race.

In “Stark’s World”, she would be one of sterile people in “The Handmaiden’s Tale”. In the real world, we are praying for that.

Gotta be satire. Please let this be satire

Nope, not satire.

At least the researchers working on phrenology had some valid and plausible hypothesis that just happened to not stand up to experimental scrutiny after rigorous research.

And Phrenologists DID successfully hypothesize that certain regions of the brain could be associated with certain specific cognitive and motor functions, even if they did understand the mechanics.

Feminist alternative science is politicized garbage, just like Lysenkoism in 1930s Russia

In the name of political correctness, our Universities are promoting the teaching of fake, made up science.

They have destroyed and discredited the social sciences and they are now taking aim at doing the same to the STEM curriculum.

For your entertainment and illumination - the abstract and first page of Whitney Stark's semi manifesto on Assembled Bodies

https://muse.jhu.edu/article/654589

Here is the abstract. It is the prototypical example of the dense , jargon heavy content lite “scholarship” totally devoid of any fact or reality based intellectual or scholarly work product.

Assembled Bodies: Reconfiguring Quantum Identities
Whitney Stark
From: Minnesota Review
Issue 88, 2017
pp. 69-82

Abstract:

In this semimanifesto, I approach how understandings of quantum physics and cyborgian bodies can (or always already do) ally with feminist anti-oppression practices long in use. The idea of the body (whether biological, social, or of work) is not stagnant, and new materialist feminisms help to recognize how multiple phenomena work together to behave in what can become legible at any given moment as a body. By utilizing the materiality of conceptions about connectivity often thought to be merely theoretical, by taking a critical look at the noncentralized and multiple movements of quantum physics, and by dehierarchizing the necessity of linear bodies through time, it becomes possible to reconfigure structures of value, longevity, and subjectivity in ways explicitly aligned with anti-oppression practices and identity politics. Combining intersectionality and quantum physics can provide for differing perspectives on organizing practices long used by marginalized people, for enabling apparatuses that allow for new possibilities of safer spaces, and for practices of accountability.

This the pseudo intellectual, pseudo science they are teaching in the University these days based on the research of pseudo scientists.

Whoa!

Is that electron thingy a particle (Bohr model) or a wave (viz., Schrodinger)?

Seems that "experimental" duality is a binary choice - strange.

The cat is dead. Because the cat observed his death.

Such a stupid hypothesis anyways.
