As tensions continue in Portland following the racially charged murder of two men on Friday, the top Republican in the city said he is considering using militia groups as security for public events.

Funny how you post threads but never engage in discussion on them.
Fixed it.
You noticed that noob behavior, as well...
So this guy is talking/ranting, and these 3 males felt obligated or bound to stop this guy from talking/ranting?
How did the 3 males intervene? Who started the physical violence?
“free speech rally” put in quotations
being subjected to hate speech . . . no quotes, stated as fact
What a biased article
And what a bastard Mayor . . so he’s going to define what speech is protected? Yeah, right.
BTW, isn’t this cat a BernieBot?
Yeah.
Previously seen from a person fishing for quotes.
I do understand Humblegunner’s issues with bloggers as well as yours when the bloggers don’t hang around to argue or discuss their point a view. Yet I don’t think that all bloggers should be banned from posting to FREE Republic as long as they are going hang out for a bit and be sociable. The ones that don’t hang around... the mods should ZOT THEM with extreme prejudice!
My Lord!
The Guardian reads positively Orwellian, now!
...........this is what happens when Mayors and Chief’s of Police conspire to take sides instead of treating all sides equally.
It’s likely to get much worse.
And this isn’t even blog-pimping.
He’s linking The Guardian for pete’s sake....
Tensions in Portland have certainly notched up with the Left side of the city, the ruling side of the city, in a fenzy.
The local US Attorney is an Obama appointee and he was quick to stand with the local FBI Special Agent in Charge to condemn the stabbings Friday.
I posted first story on the incident Saturday morning but all topics and subjects were removed from the article to make it harder to find.
That suggests the management at FR is reluctant to let posts about the story gain too much prominence.
This story from the Leftist “Guardian” is revealing because a local Oregon Republican leader sees “Oath Keepers” and “Three Percenters” as “Republican militia”, in essence.
The games those people played with the Oregon Standoff protest last year not supporting it, trying to shut it down, caused me to suspect those groups of being GOPe front groups.
They wanted the protest to be shut down because it did not support their political agenda, just like JFK and Democrat Establishment opposed Martin Luther King back in 1963.
Nothing suspicious about it. I assure you. When I wish to comment on a subject, I will.
Well, the exercpting clickbots tend to ignore that there are guidelines on posting own content.
But the guys who post and run..
...I am tempted to “Undead” their threads just to try and goad them into responding.

Posting and running tends to smell suspicious to us.
It’s nice to know what the intent of someone is based on what they say about the article.
You see, lots of idiots in the past tried posting turd threads to fish for quotes that they would then misquote or misrepresent elsewhere.
I have expressed my opinion of Humblegunner in the past as an enforcer who does the business of dealing with unwelcome posts on this forum without implicating the management in the enforcement action.
If people in this forum thought management was trying to shut certain people many of them agree with down, a lot of people might leave.
> How did the 3 males intervene? Who started the physical violence?
AFAIK that has never been reported.
