Germany's top politicians have stepped up criticism of US President Donald Trump, a day after Chancellor Angela Merkel said the US and UK were no longer reliable partners.
On Monday Mrs Merkel said it was right not to gloss over differences with the US, while her foreign minister said Mr Trump's actions "weakened the West".
It comes days after the G7 summit, where Mr Trump refused to commit to the 2015 Paris climate deal.
Germany goes to the polls in September.
German opposition leader Martin Schulz accused Mr Trump of having tried to "humiliate" Mrs Merkel in Brussels......

Who knew that Germany was still part of “The West.” From what I’ve seen, it’s just “Northern North Africa.” The only good thing is that I doubt very much we will see a resurgence of Nazis.
Well, Trump, or more precisely what Trump represents, is a serious challenge to what the barren leaders of childless Europe are trying to create.
You know, I seriously believe a lot of the unreasoning bitter hatred directed at Our Lady of Wasilla was triggered by her fertility. Any individual or group that produces above-replacement level white children is a roadblock to the world Merkel, Macron, and the rest of the EU want to build.

Trump is trying to strengthen NATO and from it into a more effective defensive force for the West.
How is this “trying to destroy the West”?
I have no real evidence to back this with, but... I have always felt that there would be a huge, negative shift in Germany’s internal politics and that the US, along most of the rest of the world, would be forced to fight Germany in another war. The only reason we did not do so for a 3rd in the 20th Century, is because we ran out of years in that century. Thoughts?

Wish they were half as angry at the rapists and murderers imported into their country by Merkel as they are at our president. They’d better watch their language or he just may dust off that 30% border adjustment tax and apply it to German autos.
