Same here. I can get Jamaican meat pies and pigeon peas in the freezer cases at Walmart. No haggis, though ... not even formed, breaded haggis-bits.

I don't think the fact that every store has potatoes reflects Irish (or Incan) "privilege." It's just that potatoes are cheap, travel well, and last a long time.

It is nearly impossible to find a nice oat cake in the US.
