I confess I've taken a few potshots at President Trump, but, for the most part, I've been very supportive of him.
TrumpCare was something I also criticized and I am wary of his Parental Leave Act.
We do have much to be appreciative of but we need to be careful we don't become complacent or, even worse, mute, when the time calls for it.
I, for one, hereby commit to taking fewer potshots.

Even under the best of circumstances, I would likely never agree to 100% of the things any president does... there are many issues, and no one agrees with ME on everything I think... that's reality.
Trump has the guts, energy and brains required to make progress in the difficult (seemingly impossible) task of ridding our government of rampant corruption and waste. I don't know of anyone else alive today who has more potential in that regard.
I'm going to stand with him on the big issues and not sweat the minor issues. Losing this opportunity now is unthinkable.

An excellent post which sums up much of my current thinking.
There is no doubt in my mind that Trump’s victory last November was nothing less than a miracle of divine intervention. A Hellary victory would have been the end of the Republic.... There would have been no more constitution and there would be Gulags across the country. Yet.... Against all odds her demonic Marxism was defeated.
President Trump has shown himself to be courageous and wise yet he is a mortal man at the end of the day. He will err and things won’t always go to plan. It’s at moments like that it’s CRUCIAL that all patriots stand behind Trump in these hours as the Marxists will never cease in their efforts to destroy Trump, and consequently, our country.

They have different dreams, most of the GOP are Cheap Labor Express Republicans who dream of continuing to import cheap labor for their donors.
They voice opposition for Obamacare but secretly want to keep it or even go to single payer to take that burden off their corporate donors.
I have been one of the more vocal about DACA.
It really is my only beef with President Trump.
Candidate Trump rightly said that it was unconstitutional and illegal and he would end it immediately.
Now it looks like it will not end at all.
It did not become constitutional and legal when he took office. It is hypocritical to demand cities abandon their sanctuary policies while providing sanctuary.
It is not possible to restore the rule of law while practicing lawlessness. DACA has no basis in law, Obama made it up out of thin air. They are still illegal aliens.
In deference to other freepers, I will try to tone it down, but it is a broken promise whether anyone wants to admit it or not.

Trump presidency he's done much to counter what 0bama
(along with liberals, leftists and outright America haters
around the world) have done to our nation and it isn't pretty.
Give our new President Trump a chance and I've no doubt he
will succeed in undoing the travesties of the last 8 years.

Good job. A few of us started backing Trump as an early candidate. We and Trump were laughed at, jeered and made fun of. Some Trump people were attacked and hurt, when Trump was trying to speak. Inspite of that hatred, Trump won, and we still are backing him supporting him.
As our Potus, he has done more to protect our country and families since he was sworn in, than most presidents have in an entire term or two terms.
He has done this with the entire left wing media attacking him 24/7, the DNC and rats in congress attacking and lying about him. Schumer, Pelosi and Mad Maxine are attacking Trump each day.
Daily the mediots and liars in Congress scream about Russia/Russia with zero proof of any connection to Trump.
His back stabbers remind me of a combination of Brutus, Judas and Benedict Arnold, all wrapped up together in a cloak of hatred that should be used against our real enemies.
The real enemies, who want to destoy Trump to get back to destroying America.
Real enemies in the open, and the covert ones with the Deep State working covertly to destroy our country, our families and President Trump. James Comey was/is a prime example of how dangerous a Deep State Snake can be at high levels.
My tagline sums up this reality and the alternative each day.
My grown liberal daughter asked me a couple of days ago whether, after all that has happened since his election, I still support Trump.
I replied, “Without reservation.” He has done more to advance conservative policies than any president since Reagan, and more than almost any politician of any stripe in the past century.
Unfortunately he’s like a star quarterback whose offensive line is in the employ of the opposing team. Fortunately he’s a good backfield runner.
