SOUTH ORANGE, New Jersey (WABC) -- A group of middle school students from New Jersey caused quite a flap, after half of them refused to take a picture with Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan.

It happened Thursday during a field trip to Washington.

Reaction from the students' parents are as politically divided as the country.

"It's not just a picture," said Matthew Malespina, a student.

Matthew says he couldn't go through with it.

It didn't matter that Paul Ryan is the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, or that he is third in-line to the presidency.

When he and his classmates from South Orange Middle School had the chance to take a picture with the speaker. Matthew watched from the parking lot with 100 of his fellow students.

Regardless the rationale of all involved, the fact is that we’ve ceded absolute control of public education in the United States to immoral, godless forces. Nothing short of a miracle will save Western Civilization, particularly the USA. And given our embrace of homosexuality and other sexual sins, I don’t expect any miracles in our favor.

Had Obama or Nancy Pelosi come to my kids school I would have kept them home. Maybe, changed schools!

These kids are free to do what they will, I guess. Ten bucks says none of them knew who Paul Ryan was — or the role of the House Speaker — anyway.

The refusenik half just got a 4.0 grade score for the year. The normal half is going to have to repeat 8th grade

Yet another bi of evidence that the left has seized control over what the little ones think and how they express it. One more example as to why the left wins and conservatives babble. Liberals “INDOCTRINATE” and “ACT” and thus gain control. AT present we are losing.

The visceral hatred in certain parts of this country for ANYONE who carries the designation “Republican” is as unreasoning as the highly obvious kind of hatred once shown against “colored” people in certain localities right here in America, which included riots, hostile demonstrations and physical harm or even death inflicted on the targeted demographic, the “n****rs”.

Republicans of every variety are the new n****rs of today’s landscape. And these children who show that “righteous anger” are the seeds of the new KKK.

And unlike us, they don’t differentiate between Conservatives and “RINOs”, an R is an R, to them.

Their agendas are motivated by bad intentions. These are not patriots, or good Americans. They’re globalist. The kids are simply pawns who’ve been brain washed by their adult parents and those in these government run schools/academia.

And I agree, with the extent of this evil in government, we’ll be lucky to ever turn it around by traditional means, like voting. They’re so embedded in government, even with Trump, it’s an uphill fight for America every step of the way.

It’s why I hope somehow Trump or his people are able to find or discover the Holy Grail of evidence so to speak, against this treasonous SOB’s.

We still believe in the fundamental structure of government and respect the office. The alternative is anarchy....what we have today ISN'T it.

Now, bigotry for the (R) based on "teachers'" ideals, yeah, that's just (D) SOP.

avoiding what you don’t like doesn’t get you very far in the long run.
God just lets you keep bumping into more of it until you finally deal with it. These parents and their kids are all childishly self focused instead of looking to become mature people.

There was a story making the rounds in the 1990s about an incident at a baseball game where Joe DiMaggio refused to have a photo taken with Bill Clinton.
