My daughter-in-law is the only white teacher in the elementary school where she teaches math. In the last two years, she has received complaints from three black single moms. The last time was when this one lady's son asked out loud in class if he could get a girl pregnant by having her lick his weiner. Fifth grade. She told him talk like that is not appropriate in the classroom and then she sent him to the principal's office. The boy's mom now wants my daughter-in-law fired.
That is the kind of reaction that makes me not want to pursue academia, even if I’m getting that suggestion by family/friends and having a business degree (BSB Management Information Systems).
Title IX railroading of students is bad enough, the railroading of conservative instructors is beyond the pale.
