While I don’t completely trust the Russians, we should work with them any time we have a mutual interest. In the area of Islamic terrorism such a mutual interest exists.

We know from our Christian books, that Russia doesn’t wind up on the right side in the end. I understand where you are coming from, and at times I can see why you say what you have here. I still think we need to be very wary of Russia.

At times, like with ISIS, we have a common goal and I think we should work together. There’s nothing wrong with embellishing our relationship as long as we keep a level head and avoid some pitfalls.

A working relationship can help us build trust and avoid some pitfall, all on its own too.

Russia is still looking out for it’s best interests, and I don’t think they are always going to align with ours. I don’t necessarily find that an unreasoned occurrence. It will happen at times and hopefully it will work out to something we both can live with.

We know from OUR Christian books that Russia is more on the right side than most!!!

As for the speculative “prophecies”, the Kingdom of the North is Turkey, anyway!!! Even the more real prophet, the Elder Paisios, identifies Turkey as the adversary in the next big war!!!!

Russia will always look out for its interests,however. I wish that we could look out for ours, rather than giving in to our muslim enemies as the Dims always do!

I don’t want to put down your thoughts on Turkey. I have always thought Russia. I’m not going to argue the point. Whichever, things are lined up.

I will explain my thinking though.

I don’t see Turkey as the bad player, because I think the U.S. and Russia are the big dogs in the hunt. It would seem the end of times would be between two major players. Turkey isn’t one.

We could mop that up quickly. Russia on the other hand, having nukes isn’t an easy resolution.

It also has a friendship with Syria that could turn into an Israel problem at some point do to the Golan Heights, Syria’s helping to arm Hezbollah, and Russian attention to the needs of it’s ally, and not being able to remain detached.

There are no good guys in Syria. But order can be restored and Assad is the key to that.
Best of all, we can let the Russians and Assad loyalists do the heavy lifting.
