The Department of Justice issued a prompt response to CNN’s Wednesday accusation of impropriety against Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
CNN used the two already reported meetings between Sessions and Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyac as the basis for a news story on the Attorney General.
Sessions did not mention the meetings, which took place as part of Sessions’ official duties as a United States Senator, on his SF-86, the disclosure form for those applying for “top secret” clearance. This fact was, by CNN’s own account, freely volunteered by the Justice Department.
DOJ spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores told CNN that Sessions did not list any of the dozens of ambassadors he met over years of being a senator.
Shortly after CNN ran their story, which quoted a Washington attorney who claimed that he would advise a client to disclose all official meetings, the Justice Department issued a press release firing back at the implication of wrongdoing.

CNN trots this out every few weeks. They’re due for another “scandal timeline” story. When there is no news they generate it, they must keep the aura of scandal alive. And they wonder why they’re called FAKE NEWS.
For the libs on here that means Sessions doesn't have to report anyone he contacted while a Senator.

Time Warner owns CNN, but who owns Time Warner?
Yesterday the headlines read that Hillary Clinton won the democratic debate. Even CNN, who hosted the debate, claimed a victory for Clinton. CNN conveniently glossed over the fact that their own poll showed Sanders was declared the winner by 82% of respondents! How could this be? Let’s break it down:
CNN is owned by Time Warner. Time warner is a publicly traded corporation, (TWX), with revenues of close to $30 billion per year. Time warner is one of Hillary Clintons top ten lifetime contributors. Enough said! But who exactly owns Time Warner?
This is where we enter the shell game of modern globalized capitalism. 89% of TWX shares (shares of stock) are “institutionally owned”. This means that large financial houses like Vanguard, State Street, JP Morgan, and Black Rock Financial owns the majority of the stock.
I work close to a Hidden Valley Plant and see the Plant Manager from time to time in the local eatery. I asked him if there are any Russians there in the Plant; He said “No”, then added “We do have a couple of Ranch hands!” lol....
An SF-86 does not ask for a list of meetings. It says
"Do you have, or have you had, close and/or continuing contact with a foreign national within the last seven (7) years with whom you, or your spouse, or cohabitant are bound by affection, influence, common interests, and/or obligation? Include associates as well as relatives, not previously listed in Section 18" (Section 18 is for relatives).
It asks for “close and/or continuing contact”. Official duties is not even applicable in this case. See link I provided.
I have been wondering if Sessions has been murdered and his body dumped on a park bench. I hoped he would hit the ground running on investigations of Obama and the Clintons but it appears he may have just hit the floor. If anyone sees him laying on the ground or on a park bench somewhere please kick him and if he is still alive please give him the following message “GET UP OFF YOU ARSE AND DO YOUR JOB”!
