That’s one of the big reasons people flee Mexico. It’s not so much the welfare they get in the USA, it’s more due to the cartels killing people and the Mexican government turning its head since most of them are owned by the cartels. I’m sure Vicente is living a life of comfort thanks to Mexican taxpayers and cartel payouts.
If they’d wipe out the cartels, less people would flee Mexico.
Like all the Spanish caudillos who govern, er, loot Mexico Fox doesn’t live in Mexico. He lives in Arizona. He has always had dual citizenship.
