Chris Parker was there, reportedly, because it was a good place to beg. Stephen Jones, 35, was sleeping nearby. Now, both homeless men are being praised as heroes after the Manchester Arena bombing.
As Manchester and the rest of Britain were trying to come to terms with the countrys deadliest terrorist attack in more than a decade, the two men are being hailed on social media for their selflessness and courage.

Humanity comes to the fore when tragedy strikes. Even the lowest amongst us can rise to the occasion when called up from within! May God Bless them and all of the others who move towards the disaster rather than away. I also pray that this gives them a second chance and that they WORK to take it!

Note that these guys are homeless but the bomber was living in a nice multi bedroom Council house given to his parents - who oh by the way had moved back to Libya

On the other hand, I find the alleged, politically correct response of security personnel to concerns about suspicious activity from concert fans before the bombing to be very disturbing.

What's the deal with foreigners? Over the years I've noticed that foreigners and "immigrants" seem to have unlimited funds for vacations, travel, and jetting around.
In the highly unlikely event that I would want to travel to Europe, it would take a couple of years of scrimping and saving and planning.
Even had I the money, there are still responsibilities and commitments at home. Not only do foreigners have the bucks but they seem to have no ties to any sense of responsibility. Just get up and go.
In Minnesota, the state pays the rent for "refugees" so that they can take a vacation back in their homeland. Uhhh, "refugees" who take vacations back to their homeland are ipso facto not refugees.
Homeless does not mean worthless.
