I dont know if Roger Ailes did all the stuff he was accused of doing. I do know that he didnt make Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky carry on a sexual relationship under the roof of the White House and then lie about it.
But admitting that wouldnt help Lewinsky get an editorial published in the New York Times. This did:
This is not another obituary for Roger Ailes, who died last week 10 months after being ousted at Fox News. It is, I hope, instead an obituary for the culture he purveyed a culture that affected me profoundly and personally.
Just two years after Rupert Murdoch appointed Mr. Ailes to head the new cable news network, my relationship with President Bill Clinton became public. Mr. Ailes, a former Republican political operative, took the story of the affair and the trial that followed and made certain his anchors hammered it ceaselessly, 24 hours a day
My family and I huddled at home, worried about my going to jail Meantime, Mr. Ailes huddled with his employees at Fox News, dictating a lineup of talking heads to best exploit this personal and national tragedy.
Her editorial goes on like that. She was the victim of mean ol Roger Ailes, who exploited her tragedy for ratings. Poor Monica Lewinsky. Boo-hoo.
Lewinsky decries what she calls our culture of shame and vitriol. She says that Ailes is somehow a hypocrite because he made his name by exploiting a sex scandal while being accused of sexual harassment. But Ailes didnt make her do what she did. Ailes didnt make Bill Clinton lie about it under oath. I dont blame her for resenting a lot of the things that people have said about her, myself included, but shes not a helpless victim. She did what she did. The 42nd President of the United States did what he did. The two of them are responsible for their own actions.
Yet in an 839-word piece, Lewinsky mentions Bill Clinton just once. Her harshest words are reserved for the people who reported about his actions. Twenty years later, Monica Lewinsky is still blaming everybody except the one man whos most responsible for her torment.
Thats love for ya.
Say, has the NYTs preferred presidential candidate in 2016 commented on this editorial yet? Im sure shes read it.
The New York Times will leak that Ailes was under the desk. Oy vey! Those guys
Why does the Pink Floyd song “Have a cigar” come to mind?
Fox News launch, on October 7, 1996.
At launch, only 10 million households were able to watch Fox News, with none in the major media markets of New York City and Los Angeles...
Her “relationship”?? Giving BJs to a married President in the Oval Office on MY DIME???
Once upon a time I thought this slut was an innocent kid taken advantage of by an older man. Now I realize she is just another slut.
It was the Russians, not Roger Ailes, that hacked Bill Clinton’s zipper and his cigar box. Put the blame on the ones responsible, not the guy who talked about perjury and other serious crimes.
Caitlyn Jenner, Monica Lewinski, and Chelsea Clinton, who is the winner here?
We all are since we have no relationship with any of them.
I want to keep it that way.
“Monica kneepads” became an expression because a slutty intern diddled the married POTUS, and they both committed and suborned perjury to try to hide their reckless encounters in the White House. Roger Ailes had nothing to do with her “relationship” (sic), or how it became revealed, or how the executive branch of the USA became embroiled in scandals of lying, finger-wagging, fake talking points, and generally scummy behavior.
I’m sure Brian Williams was under the desk.
Wonder what this little tramp thinks when wherever she goes, the first thing people look at when they see her is her MOUTH.
IIRC - it was Monica who turned the blue dress over to Linda Tripp and added fuel to the fire. Fox just reported on the facts.
I’ll try to find a time-line and post it.

News of the scandal first broke on January 17, 1998, on the Drudge Report,[22] which reported that Newsweek editors were sitting on a story by investigative reporter Michael Isikoff exposing the affair. The story broke in the mainstream press on January 21 in The Washington Post.
Monica Lewinsky ... Where do I begin?
1. Federal employee breaking ethics law.
2. WILLING accomplice in an adulterous affair, which interfered with actions of national security.
3. Unbecoming conduct performed within a national landmark.
4. Stilted “druish” J.A.P., crying crocodile tears, after making revenue from a publication, and numerous interviews, screaming that her “reputation” has been tarnished!!
(I didn’t know there were levels of whores.)
Pathetic....but not surprising
she pursued him..... he should have stopped that nonsense, but he did not start the affair.
she is responsible for her own misery.
Said she while retouching her lipstick....
That alone shows that she has impaired judgment. Roger Ailes had nothing to do with that.
If it weren't for the publicity, she might have been yet another victim of arkancide.
Anyway, I can't say anything more about her. She's just not worth the effort.
