Former FBI Director James Comey will speak privately with Robert Mueller, special prosecutor in the Russia probe, prior to testifying in public before the House or the Senate.
House Oversight Committee Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, said that decision of Comey's means he would delay a hearing he had planned for this week.

Mueller deep stater and Comey is a comrade....never going to happen. Mueller is a Bush guy and we know that family has an ax to grind. This has been set up to take Trump out....the only thing that stops that train is marching on DC by the people with pitchforks.

I suspect that Comey will cancel the Senate meeting after meeting with Mueller.
This sounds unethical. Would they allow Republicans to sync their stories?
I don’t trust Mueller anymore than I trust Comey.
It is the TRUMP ADMINISTRATION’s Justice Department that initiated this investigation.
In what I believe was an incredibly dumb move, President Trump’s Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from all dealings with the Russia probe. That left it to Attorney General Sessions’ Deputy Attorney General, Ron Rosenstein to decide whether to shut this all down and tell the Democrats to pound sand, investigate it within the Justice Department or appoint a Special Counsel. Rosenstein decided to appoint a Special (Independent) Counsel to run the investigation and he selected Robert Mueller. Its too soon to know whether that was a good move or a bad move.
Last time was Sky Harbor..on a tarmac. This is just unbelievable!! Toss the whole freaking circus and side show out now.

Both Comey and Mueller are Republicans. Mueller was originally appointed FBI Director by George W. Bush in 2001 and Comey’s federal career began when George W. Bush appointed him U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York in 2002. Comey then went on to be Bush Attorney General John Ashcroft’s Deputy in 2003.
Sessions needs to be there.

I do apologize. I read that over and it did come out wrong! I was simply making a point and it was clumsily done. I really did not mean to imply that you thought Trump is an idiot.
Wait....are you telling me that you trust ‘Republicans’? Just testing my understanding.

They did that (denied there was evidence) before Congress.
If Mueller does meet with Comey, Trump should fire him. You talk about the appearance of impropriety.
