During a tour of the General Electric facility in Saudi Arabias capital city, Melania Trump lauded the empowerment of women.
The First Lady said women should collaborate and make the education of their children a priority.
Check it out (per Reuters):
It is about finding the balance, she told the women, who took pictures of her with their smartphones. Later on Twitter, she wrote Enjoyed talking to the incredible women working hard @GE_Saudi service center. Great strides being made towards the empowerment of women.
Melania is joining the President on his first international tour, where they will soon finish a two-day stint in Saudi Arabia.
Prior to the GE tour, Mrs. Trump handed out books at the American International School of Riyadh.
"The school, unlike most others in the conservative kingdom, has both male and female students of different nationalities."
All of this is especially notable, as Saudi Arabia is globally known for being the most gender-segregated nation in the world.
Saudi women are required to live under the guardianship of a man, and must receive guardianship permission before participating in some activities.
The media was abuzz yesterday to see that Melania arrived in the country sans head covering, which women are expected to wear in public in the country.
Does not matter what they wear now, its what they will be wearing in the future — they will revert to BMOs like the two in the picture.
Free to be No.1 until she returns home and is beaten where it does not show ...
Yes it’s quite refreshing to have a real lady at the front of our country once again. The Virtue Signaling that came out of the previous White House is probably the most annoying part of it for me and now I have to look at those freaking hate doesn’t live here signs all over our neighborhood I can’t stand them

Absolutely true!! We lived in London and knew this to be true.
That will change also....they have to do BABY STEPS FIRST!! They have lived in the 7th Century for CENTURIES, but now they see how Omanis, and Dubians, and Abu Dhabis live.....in the 21st Century.....their buildings put ours to SHAME!!! STUNNING ARCHITECTURE....STUNNING!!
I much prefer peaceful change to violence.
Let us advance our cause with love, when we can. And defend our cause with force, when we must.
Kudos to Saudi women who express themselves in the fringes of their garments. Your patience demonstrates confidence in the future.
Queen Rania of Jordan and Princess Haya of Dubai get to show off their beauty and lovely clothes in their countries. Women in SA and Iran need to keep pushing for restrictive dress codes for women in those countries to be abandoned.
