Yes, exactly. . That poor child. What has he see in his young life?

Of course, some idiot social worker will have him and his sister back with their scum parents in no time.

Prayers for these children.

Bets on whether the kid knows how to shoot his parents up?

He just might know how.

Stop dumping on social workers. They can only do what the law allows. State legislators who you placed into office made the rules social workers must follow. The primary goal in Texas, as it is most everywhere, is to reunite the family no matter what. To take a child away from a parent requires higher up approval and court action where the “idiot social worker” again has to follow the judge’s ruling. I was one of your “idiot social workers” who was nearly thrown in jail twice for daring to point out lies the parents and their attorneys were dishing out. Another hearing, half the Hispanic community and I were trying to save a child from a perverted priest and her parents but were admonished by the judge. This “idiot social worker” also won the state’s case against moronic parents while on jury selection. The state ran jury selection out to 5 pm at which time the judge called me up by name to the bench to dismiss me. You want change? Go look in the mirror and talk to your legislators and judges.

***That poor child. What has he see in his young life?***
***Prayers for these children.***

As you mention, that young boy has seen plenty, and has had to grow up very fast.

I’ll tell you a story of a friend of mine. Her parents were divorced when she was about the same age as this boy. Her mother was an alcoholic. Dad wanted nothing to do with the Mom, but could only get the kids every other weekend. My friend had 3 siblings, one an infant at the time of the divorce. She had to take care of her 3 siblings, clean the house, and take care of mom too. At the age of 5, she asked her Grandma if she could please come to live with her permanently. Somehow, her mother relinquished custody of her, and only her, to her Grandmother’s care. She still saw her father and siblings every other weekend.

I agree about praying for these children. My friend grew up to marry her high school sweetheart, and they have two children of their own, but then adopted another. After that they fostered 28 more children over many years, and were able to adopt several of those. My friend took any child that CS thought were difficult cases. Only a couple of them did she “return” to the agency, and only because they put other children at risk. She is a devout Christian, and in my mind, walks the walk every day. She even took care of her alcoholic mother when she had a stroke!

I tell you this true story, because my friend has been a huge inspiration to me and countless others. At Thanksgiving every year, all those children of hers, natural, adopted, and fostered, come to her place with their own families. She’s an amazing person.

I hope and pray that this young boy will have a happy life despite the hardships he has already endured. You never know when someone will use the tragedy in his life, to overcome so many odds, and maybe even help others.
