Gowdy is all talk. He does nothing. Her thighness is above the law. Has been for decades.
I’m getting less impressed with Gowdy by the day.
Add Comey to the lengthy list of people who get involved with the Clintons and end up in jail, dead or fired from there positions. Begins with the McDougals in the White Water scandal, Vince Foster also WW and most recently, Debbie Wasserman Schultz of DNC email fame. Have the Democrats learned a lesson yet?
Gowdy makes no sense when he says Comey was protecting the integrity of the investigation.
It could be Comey knew Obama was in on the server deal and couldn’t risk bringing down the government by letting it go to trial.
Oh. Sorry, that won’t fly now, since we know he was trying to get Trump.
Maybe there was intel showing foreign hackers had taken such a trove of documents that it would bring down the government if exposed in a public trial.
He didn’t botch it.
He did what he was told.
I saw that interview and was intrigued by MacCallum's last comment when she said it appeared he was implying that there was more Clinton interference in the Justice Department than previously known and Gowdy simply replied that she was a very perceptive person. When that is looked at along with Comey's last testimony before Congress when he tried to defend himself by saying something to the effect that it was a case of participating in a cover up giving the interview about his investigation and recommendation for non prosecution.
Comey needed to go, but there seems to be more to this than we now know. In that last Congressional testimony, Comey appeared to me to be a man caught between a rock and a hard place.
What I got out of that is Gowdy was not talking at all about the guilt or innocence of Hillary, but why Comey made his statement on her investigation.
Did you notice Hillary was starting to dip her toe back in the water with her “resist” program, but has then clammed up and crawled back into her hole. Ditto Obummer. I think Trump knows how to squeeze them into “good behavior”, or else. Personally I would like to see the “or else” happen.
Comey’s statement also demonstrated the guilt and complicity of Comey.
The law in question does not require intent in order for a crime to have been committed.
Any lawyer would know this. Any fool would know this. Gowdy is both a lawyer and a fool, so he should know it twice.
Clinton has committed enough crimes to be imprisoned for the rest of her life.
It’s time to show her to her cell.
