For months since the election the only topic on the mainstream media (MSM) news outlets has been that President Trump somehow stole the election from Hillary Clinton by working in collusion with Russia. This fallacious argument is played around the clock by the MSM and discussed repeatedly ad nauseam by Democrats every chance they get.
On Wednesday the headline of the Drudge Report was that Democrats felt they were finally at the place where they could poll test their efforts to impeach President Trump.
Democrats can’t do anything without a poll.
The Drudge Report’s headline linked to a report from McClatchy’s DC Bureau that discussed the Democratic Party’s plans to impeach Trump and their efforts to first poll test this action with voters.
“ In a significant development, party operatives say they expect Democrats to poll-test the public’s views on impeachment, trying to acquire hard data about an issue that until now has not been seriously analyzed. Other strategists say that candidates and party organizations will begin conducting focus groups on the question.
The results of their polling must have been God awful shocking for the Democrats and their liberal MSM because today in every way the Democrats are retreating from impeaching Trump.
For example, three of the biggest far left publications posting fake news stories about President Trump to justify his impeachment are now backing off:
1. The New York Times is reporting that “Democratic Leaders Try to Slow Calls to Impeach Trump“.
2. CNBC reports “Chances of Trump impeachment are low, says Nomura“.
3. The Washington Post reports “Considering Impeachment? Slow Down”
The Democrats big play to remove President Trump via impeachment is backfiring. Americans are seeing more than ever before how biased the MSM in America is and are fed up. The more the MSM promotes impeachment the more Democrats and the MSM look foolish like upset spoiled little children. President Trump calling the MSM ‘fake news’ is resonating with Americans.
A significant majority of electoral college delegates, states and counties in the US voted for President Trump despite the MSM’s all out assault. Without voter fraud President Trump would have easily won the popular vote as well. Now more Americans are waking up and they don’t like their President being treated so terribly unfair.
The results must have been bad – real bad, for the Democrat/MSM complex to suddenly begin their all out retreat.

I suspect the polling showed that Americans are not just fed up, but are getting angry--not the typical b**chy irritation, but real anger.
While FR was down, perusing some of the media sites that allow comments showed a good number of comments along the lines of:"if they succeed in impeaching based on 'trumped up' charges, time to start terminating people (media, politicians, liberals in general) with extreme prejudice".
Enough of those comments obviously got the paid liberal trolls flustered enough to threaten to tell the authorities/whoever about the posts. The interesting reaction to those threats was "I don't care".
Now a lot of that was probably keyboard commando stuff, but the sheer volume should give pause to the media/politicians/deep state people who are promulgating the BS against Trump.
Gee ya think? The man hasn’t even been in office FIVE, count that FIVE months, and they’ve been talking impeachment since before he took the oath. Everyone outside of their deranged sanctuary cities know what the deal is with these socialist, globalists jackals.
The other night on Hannity David Limbaugh told the Dems to go for IT (impeachment)!, and watch the democrats Destroy their party!!

They don’t want him impeached they want him impotent. If Trump goes he is replaced by a more conservative VP who understands how DC works, could probably get things done, has more self control and therefore would be harder to smear. And God forbid what if Pence chose a conservative woman as his Veep? The democrats know Trump is more use to them in office being pilloried and attacked daily. Throw out impeachment, scandal, the Russians anything to keep the meme of a damaged president on the front page, FB and twitter, but don’t actually impeach and take a chance with his replacement someone they can’t really tarnish as easily.
You bet your sweet bippee it’s backfiring with those in America that just want to live and love their families etc without DC being in their lives . However, I noticed something the other day. As many here you possibly have liberal friends on social media. I am stunned by their anti-Trump vitriol and these are professionals. If you or I did that against Obama the possibility of being fired was real. But it is to the point I am concerned about their health if you will, they maybe beyond denial, but not anger, but it bordering on some sort of obsession with not letting it go almost like the Palestinian Authority never lets go of their anti-Israel hatred, the daily I will not let go of it is frightening. G-d forbid someone not well grounded acts on this vitriol, will Auntie Maxine and all the players be held accountable? No, they won’t. The left is winding up their minions to a pitch that is not healthy. What will be the behavior this summer be of Antifa, BAMN etc etc, that is the million dollar question...
Not sure they can chill the summer activities already planned by the Soros lieutenants. The anti-intellectuals would have nothing to fun to do this summer if not for peeing in the streets and practicing their intimidation tactics against whites. Not sure these adult street urchins will comply.

On Monday, Pelosi was warning fellow Dems that impeachment is “off the table”.
Apparently, the poll results are making them rethink their strategy for 2018. They do have 2 dozen Senate seats up. If the ‘impeachment rants’ are turning voters off, the Dems could lose more seats.
I think the “Russian hacker” narrative is going into the dumper along with the impeachment drive. There’s just too much alternative news out there a mouse click away. The Dems have no substantial evidence of Russian hacking, it’s all a Potemkin village, and their desperate carping on the matter is eroding their credibility. They may well lose big in 2018, which is a totally crucial election for them. The fact that they and the “never Trump” GOP are in full “flight forward” overdrive on Trump, shows how brittle the entire post modern Gramsciian attempted takedown of western culture really is. It was 75% intellectual mind doinkery to begin with and you need a whole lot of propaganda assets to pull that much wool over that many eyes. They didn’t count on the Internet and the counterbalance of Fox Network and commute time conservative talk radio to have the power to resist their tsunami of agenda mongering. They are drastically overplaying their hand and this tells me that we are in a state of “endgame” and it’s _their_ end we are seeing. I’m on the verge of calling it game over for 1960’s Marxist liberalism.
The retreat from impeach started the moment some articles appeared reminding them that Hillary does not become president, there is not a new election, and Obama does not step back in. The idiots failed to understand that we would then have President Pence. You saw it on Drudge as “conservatives whisper Pence”, “Pence builds war chest”. It must have scared the progs into a, at least temporary, state of clarity.
