The Liberty President Jerry Falwell Jr.Falwell said that this was the second time that a U.S. president was speaking at the Liberty University commencement and that more than 50,000 people attended.
"I'm thrilled to be back at Liberty University. I've been here, this is now my third time, and we love setting records, right? We always set records," Trump said. "We have to set records, we have no choice."
It's only reasonable that we have to set records in everything that we do because of the constant attack.
Speaking of liberal critics, Trump told graduates "turn your hopes and dreams into actions."
"Nothing is easier or more pathetic than being a critic because theyre people that cant get the job done," he said.
The difference between Trump and the liberals is that he is a doer not just talker.
Trump stood by the free thought and free speech saying to the graduates that they shouldn't let other people tell them what to believe, "especially when you know that youre right."
"In America, we dont worship government, we worship God," he said.
One of the best motivational speeches he has ever given. JMHO!
It was exceptional. What I like about Pres. Trump is he is not afraid of the truth or stating it. He seems to want it and is smart enough to understand its importance. Most people hate the truth and want to deny it, or rationalize it, so it is so warped it becomes demonic. They are afraid to state the truth for fear of being demonized or ostracized or being unpopular. As Jesus stated, those who follow the truth will be reviled by the worldly.
Now, it is just who he surrounds himself with that is crucial, so he can get to the real truth.
The Bible (with New Testament) is a good start, as is Lockean philosophy, so he can be wise and understand our actual Constitution and our actual “justice” system based on the Christian worldview only. He needs to understand the difference between Good and Evil, Slavery and Freedom (vice and virtue). As Dostoevsky stated, without God, there is no Good or Evil.
The world philosophy is basically relativistic ... it despises absolutes. Even much of what goes for American religious organizations refuse to accept that the Bible is anything more than a nice ‘suggestion’ book - but certainly NOT the absolute and final Word of God.
A wonderful Commencement Address by President Trump.
