Report: Trump Considering Dropping Sean Spicer [Kimberly Guilfoyle as replacement?]
Washington Free Beacon ^ | 5/14/17 | David Rutz

Posted on 05/14/2017 9:07:54 AM PDT by markomalley

President Trump is weighing a major administration shake-up that would include firing White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, according to a New York Times report.

He also has become frustrated with Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, the former Republican National Committee chairman.

After a tumultuous week stemming from Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey and a series of mixed explanations for its timing and reasoning, Trump "is considering a broad shakeup" of his team that would include dropping Spicer:

Mr. Trump is growing increasingly dissatisfied with the performance of his chief of staff, Reince Priebus; the communications director, Michael Dubke; and Mr. Spicer, a Priebus ally, according to a half-dozen West Wing officials who said the president was considering the most far-reaching shake-up of his already tumultuous term.

He has been especially critical of Mr. Spicer, they said, openly musing about replacing him and telling people in his circle that he kept his own press secretary out of the loop in dismissing Mr. Comey until the last possible moment because he feared that the communications staff would leak the news.

Mr. Spicer’s blustery style mimics Mr. Trump’s, but people close to both men said he has not developed an especially close relationship with the president and has failed to use the self-protective tools that savvier Trump aides have adopted.

According to the report, Trump has put forth Fox News commentator Kimberly Guilfoyle as a possible replacement for Spicer.

Spicer, his deputy Sarah Huckabee Sanders and even Vice President Mike Pence put forth the story this week that Trump acted on the recommendation of the Justice Department to dismiss Comey. However, Trump then told NBC News anchor Lester Holt that he was going fire Comey "regardless" of any recommendation.

Really fake news.

They don’t even mention unnamed sources anymore.

They just print the lies.

Frankly, I think Spicer does a pretty good job of keeping the media in check. I am hoping this IS fake news.

The Beacon is usually good, but using the NY SLIME as a primary source? Come on.

FWIW, I have no problem with Spicer, and I am betting DJT doesn’t either. Smells like another liberal hit job.

More leaks from the destructors— this is seriously faked up news, all because Spicer went to Naval Reserve required training/service in precise alignment with a bad top cop’s firing. And also, to hinder the further rolling up of the clinton insider corruptocrat machine in the FBI and elsewhere.

The gutting of the uni-party inside the Beltway finance operation at the regular people’s expense is driving them crazy.

Plug the leaks inside your operation, Mr. Trump. But not through intimidation— that is not a good leadership approach. You want loyalty— show it, until you are shown it isn’t there, then.. out it.

For a disinformation apparat of Roger Stone— who does not have Trump’s ear— yeah, a “decent source” of something inside some counterintel working him from the dark hats. Jones needs meds of his own to control his bi-polar, quit interrupting and allow his knowledgeable guests to speak.

No kidding? Imagine how that would have “pushed” Newsom to being a full queer. I sure can’t, unless she’s a hidden tranny conversion.

What a collection of unconvincing bores!!!!

The Impotence of the Anti-Trump Ruling Class
american spectator ^ | GEORGE NEUMAYR
Posted on 5/14/2017, 8:55:47 AM by RoosterRedux

Nothing angers the ruling class more than Donald Trump’s utter indifference to its sham conventions and proprieties. This has produced a culture of pauseless fury, which grows louder with each passing day, even as ordinary Americans increasingly tune it out.

The American people are already shrugging at Trump’s firing of FBI director James Comey. Yet from the hysterics of the ruling class, one would think that America stands on the edge of a political apocalypse.

Most Americans look at the firing and say: Who cares? To them, Comey is just one more self-serving pol in D.C. The elite’s hyperventilating predictions about his firing as a permanent blot on the Trump presidency is a joke. By next week, most Americans won’t even remember the details of this controversy.

In its clawing fury over Trump, the ruling class reveals nothing but its own impotence and insularity. They are just a collection of unconvincing bores talking to themselves. One can only laugh at the delusional quality of their mutterings. Take this whopper in the New York Times’s editorial on the Comey firing: “Mr. Comey was fired because he was leading an active investigation that could bring down a president.”

Wow, sounds ominous. But what is that investigation again? How does it implicate Trump? The Times can’t tell us. We are just supposed to accept on its say-so that it is all pretty bad. George Orwell would have laughed at the propagandistic question-begging and misdirection in this paragraph of the editorial:

Yes, that constant Jones interruption is as annoying as anything—but he also regularly fields calls from Trump directly.

Spicer is doing a good job.

Trump may do away with these press meetings. He can use Spicer in other ways.

I so agree with what you said...

President Trump will do what President Trump will decide to do, not the media, talking heads, radio show hosts, not anyone else...he will make the final decision on what he wants..

Take this article like all the rest: “fake news”...
